Time just keeps flying by and I keep hearing, "you guys haven't updated your blog forever" so here it is!
Brock's update: We went to Seattle on May 7th and left a little disappointed, or at least I did. He was allowed 100% pressure on his heel, but nothing more. I didn't realize it would be such a gradual process. First he gets pressure on the heel, then the whole foot, then he gets the walking motions (is what we understood from the dr). Each appt is 6 weeks after another, so he'll be back to walking around the beginning of August, at least we think/REALLY hope! He is healing up good, there are just some bones taking a little longer than we would have hoped. Plus, his big toe doesn't have much movement. I yank and pull and do all sorts of physcial therapy stuff that they showed me to do, but it doesnt seem to be budging. I don't know, we'll have to see what he ends up with. Every day I have (or GET) to massage his foot and work on getting his big toe to move a little better. This is always the best after a long hot day. haha, NOT REALLY! :) We go back up to Seattle on June 18th and hope for more improvements to be made! Keep praying for him, it's still not over yet!
We have only 3 weeks left in the quarter and really can't wait for summer! Brock is taking summer classes, so he only has a week off, then starts summer classes. But he gets a month off after summer quarter before fall starts, so that is nice. I am ready for a break! That's for sure!
This past week Brock and I had a slight glance at what it would be like to have children. We babysat Jilayne and Garretts's beautiful girls, Madie, Morgan and Natalie. We only had them for 1 day and 1 night, but wow was that an eye opener. I understand now what moms say about it's a different kind of hard work. It really is! I thought I didn't have any time for myself now, but with children you really don't get time for yourself. It was really fun though. Brock originally wanted 3 kids but he told me he's down to 1 after this past weekend. The funny thing is he wasn't even there all day. He was on the swather for my father all day long (which was actually really nice, he's making money again!). Getting everyone ready for church on sunday was a joke! I thought 2 hrs would be enough to get everyone ready, NOPE! haha. By the way, sorry about the messy house Jilayne! I guess it really was the best birth control we could possibly get. haha.
Our little family of four loves: riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, wrestling with daddy, playing "cycles xbox" going to the farm and being with family. We are so blessed to be sealed in the temple and have our family together forever. We consist of Brock (28) Emily (25) Wyatt (3) Brynlie (born sept 2012)

It's been a while...
So all the posts for the past couple months have been done by Brock. Thanks hun for keeping up on our blog;) I have been super busy trying to keep up with everything. I know most of you are thinking, what, she doesn't even have kids yet....I know! But trust me I've been busy! My life just seems to replay it's self over and over from day to day. haha. I go to school in the morning, go to work from school, then go back to school at night time (only on mondays and wednesdays). So my life goes like this: breakfast, dishes, school, work, school, dinner, dishes, homework, SLEEP! haha. It acutally isn't that bad. The nights where I don't get home til about 7:20 are pretty hard. It just makes for a super dirty house and dishes pilled up for a couple days. So please, call before anyone comes over!
I have decided to take summer off and just work. I was planning on going to school through summer, but I just need a break. Brock and I decided that I would continue on in the fall and work towards getting my Teaching degree. That will be a while, so who knows if I'll actually get that far, but that's the plans so far. So i'm really excited to have summer off, besides working. It will be nice to come home and only have to worry about cooking dinner and doing dishes. That studying stuff isn't very fun.
Brock had been doing really good! He is such a trooper for going through all this. I think this trial is more for me, and I'm kind of glad my Heavenly Father didn't make me go through the actual pain, he can handle pain better. It has been almost 5 months now. It is crazy to think about, it truly has gone by really fast. It's funny because Brock and I have been married longer with him on crutches and with a broken foot than we have with out it! It might be kind of weird having him walk around the house and actually be able to do everything on his own, but i'm sure i'll get used to it really easily! He actually is starting to help me out a lot. We worked a lot in our yard this past week. He would use the hoe to pull up the weeds and I would come pick them up...so he's getting around. We go back to Seattle tomorrow for another check up. We're really excited to see what he's going to have him do. We have our hopes up that the doctor is going to let him start putting pressure on it, I hope it will actually happen! I'm sure brock will have pictures soon after his appt, so don't worry, he'll get them up.
Well this is a pretty long post and I have taken WAY too much time out of my day for this. I should be doing some homework.
