This and That

Both my kids always open big and wide!
Brynlie started sitting up middle of March, and was pro by beginning of April.
She was helping me make some hair clips. We have transitioned to clips because her hair is so long.

We went bowling as a family and wyatt loved it! He didn't know what bowling was, but he was excited to go! He wanted to do it every time, I think I bowled 2x and Brock about 3x.

Wyatt didn't get new church clothes for Easter, but I found this outfit after on sale and loved it. Such a stud! He saw this picture and said "I'm a farmer!" lol Not sure why he has a shovel before church.

Friends

We have had a lot of fun playing with friends lately! Wyatt LOVES playing with friends. We went to the indoor play gym with lots of friends. Wyatt had a blast with Paisley, Raegan, and Rushton. They are all very close in age and ran all over screaming and yelling to each other!

This was Paisley's birthday party. Wyatt was very anxious for the cake! So glad these 2 have each other at Gibbons, they play so good together!

Sunshine!

We had some really warm days the end of March/beginning of April. Wyatt is ALWAYS wanting to be outside when it's warm, so we were outside a lot. Love the warm sun and how it brightens the day! Our neighbors the Huff's have a little girl, Jane, that is Wyatt's age. They are inseparable! If she is outside or we are outside, the other comes running to play. They had water bottles and were "planting flowers." Normally they run around saying "we're on a mission to....(then different things like "play upstairs, save brynlie")

Easter Time

March 24th- Wyatt is really starting to play with Brynlie. He goes and talks to her, calls her "Brynlie Sue" or "Little Missy" all the time. He is actually a big help with her lately, keeping her entertained. She started to sit up a lot better, but I still had to sit right by her.

March 29th- I was making devil eggs for Easter dinner and I did a few extra so wyatt could dye some. He loved it! We drew on the with a crayon then dunked them in the color. He was so excited to put "double wyatt" (he calls "W" double wyatt) on the egg. Then he told me to do a "P for Paisley" I was shocked he remembered that from a few days before. Then I told him we'll do a "B for Brynlie" and the next day Brock was painting and wyatt said "do a B for Brynlie daddy!" He is getting so smart!

March 31st- EASTER SUNDAY! I was so excited for Wyatt for Easter. His basket had Cars plate, bowl, cup and water bottle in it and I knew he was going to love it. The first thing he said when he pulled them out was "this is from walmart daddy." Lol. Smart kid. He also got a few shirts, a pair of shorts and sandals. Brynlie got a chew toy, a shirt/shorts outfit, some little puff food, and a sweater. She has no warm clothes for sz 9-12 months, so it's been kinda hard on cold days.
Brock needed to go out to work right after Wyatt found his basket, so I rushed to get 2 kids Easter Sunday ready. I actually made it to church 5mins early! I had sharing time, so it was a crazy morning and I was glad when church was done! Kids by yourself at church (with no family I might add), is pretty hard!
We went to McGary's for lunch and ate YUMMY food. Had an egg hunt, which I was bummed Wyatt wasn't into AGAIN this year. He has loved doing egg hunts around the house, but mom got a huge ball thing and he was more into that!
We headed to Gibbons around 4pm and did a little egg hunt with Paisley and let the kids play. We always stay way later than we should, by 8:30 I was dead tired and the kids both fell asleep on the way home. It was a fun day though!
Doing sharing time this day brought me to tears so many times. It was the last days of the Saviors life. I gained a strong testimony that he lives. When the kids opened the egg that was empty and it symbolized  an empty tomb, tears streamed down my face as I realized I knew. I know my Savior lives!

House updates

March 22nd we decided we had talked about it enough and we were FINALLY going to start on painting the house walls! Yay! I was so excited. But even that morning we changed our minds with paint, again. We finally went with Sherwin Williams  Beige, my Aunt Janet did it in her house, and I LOVE IT! It is exactly what I wanted! Painting with kids is difficult! I started while brock was gone at a service project that morning, and hardly got half a wall done in an hour because someone was needing me. Putting Brynlie down for a nap and Wyatt in front of a movie helped and we finished the kitchen that day. I was stoked! Since then progress has been slow. Our house is a constant mess with couches away from walls, trim pulled off the wall and the stuff on the walls all over the floor. But we are now on the front room (we are only doing the downstairs right now). It's been fun seeing the change, can't wait to do the kitchen cabinets!

Wyatt didn't nap and was so tired by 5pm. Brock left and I started cleaning up and making dinner and he kept telling me, "I not tired mom, I not tired." Literally, 2-3 minutes later I look and he is asleep under his "tent." I felt this tired too, and wanted to lay down right by him and crash!

CHUNKY MONKEY

I have been telling Brock for a while now that Brynlie LOVES food. To this day he has only fed her 1 time, and it was the first week she was getting rice cereal, so he doesn't really know the norm with her. Sunday night (easter), he was packing his lunch while I was feeding her and every bite she takes she makes this sound "Mmmmmmmm" "Mmmmmmmmm" She lets our little scream between bites begging for more and I hurry as fast as I can, so it goes like this "ahhhhhh....Mmmmmmm......AHHHHH....Mmmmmmm" lol. Brock made me laugh so hard when he heard all this and said "She sounds like a fat kid eating a donut." I have been trying to pinpoint it and that's EXACTLY what it sounds like! lol.

I had to put her bumbo away and bring out the high chair because her legs were so fat there were getting stuck when I pulled her out. She got to the point where I would really have to push the bumbo off and she would cry, so we put it away.
