Growth

Brynlie hit 9months! Wow! She is getting so fun. She is 28 3/4inches tall (86%) and weighs 20lbs 15oz (83%). In just one week she went from not moving, or even really trying to move, to scooting all over and being across the floor. She almost immediately grows from sitting to her stomach and can get up on her knees and rocks. She usually gets stuck under the couches because she goes backward everywhere. She says "mum mum" but only when she is crying (normally while I'm getting her food ready). She is a huge momma's girl. Wants me about 85% of the time. Still goes to strangers, cousins, aunts, grandmas but will start to cry if she sees me. She is a stinker and STILL won't feed herself. I am really hoping she catches on soon. She doesn't put toys in her mouth either. She can grab (and has the "pincher grasp" down) and toy or food. But getting it to her mouth doesn't happen. If I push her hand to her mouth, she either drops the food or pushes her hand away.

Wyatt is just a week shy of 3.5 years! Wow again! About a month ago he started saying "actually" and says it a lot. "Mom I want water, well actually I really just want milk." He has been in a rough naughty stage for about 2 weeks. Won't listen to hardly anything I say. Screams and kicks me if he has to go to time out. We are patiently waiting for a new phase to come in :) He still loves tractors, trucks, motorcycles. His imagination is growing. He now builds race tracks out of anything he can find, and jumps or races his toys. He started loving to play dragons, puppies or dinosaurs. He loves just about all food but watermelon, eggs, and broccoli. He likes to tell me he doesn't like something, then will eat it 2minutes later. He learned to ride his bike w/o training wheels about 2 months ago. He is seriously better on it than I am!!! He loves to read books before naps and bedtime. He still naps about every other day, and can still nap 2-2.5 hours if I let him. His favorite saying that I hear about 5x throughout the day "daddy coming home yet?!" He LOVES his daddy!

We love the indoor play park! It's a huge gymnastic gym that the kids can run and jump and play all they want.

 We went to the cabin to help with the installation of the new carpet in the cottage. {it looks GREAT!} It rained the whole time! It stopped for about 4-5hours on thursday. Just enough time for a 4wheeler ride and to put the furniture back into the cabin. 

Leg Bangin'

Pretty sure we don't even need a baby monitor anymore. When Brynlie wakes from her nap, I don't hear much on the monitor, I just hear a big banging noise (her room is right above the kitchen, which is where I spend 80% of my day). She LOVES to pick up her feet and bang them down hard on her crib mattress! Over and Over and Over! Silly girl!

Family Pictures!

Alanna Tenney took some family pictures for us the middle of May. It was stressful for me. The kids weren't sick anymore, but I was. Luckily we made it through and I was happy with them! I'm having a hard time choosing black and white, or color for my wall! Help me choose! (some are color unedited, some are given the "antique" look. I can't figure out which I like better)

Work

I know every husband's job is the worst and every husband works too much....but seriously, farming....what were we thinking?!?!

But there are different types of farming. I LOVE that we have a job steady income!!! But Brock's kind of farming is leave around 5:30-6am and come home 6:45-7pm every. single. day. Nope, we don't get to go ride on the tractor with him. Nope, he doesn't get to come home for even just a 20min lunch. Nope, I don't get to send my son with him for just an hour to give mommy a break. Yes, I do eat breakfast, lunch and dinner by myself (I feed the kids, then I eat) (some days we wait for him for dinner). Yes, I have gone to church alone 2 out of the last 4 sundays. Yes, he has to work saturdays (not all but very frequently). Yes, we go to bed around 9pm because he has to wake up early for work. Yes, we have no social life because he is hardly home, so when he is home we are doing stuff around the house or just relaxing together. Yes, I do get extremely bored and overwhelmed with doing everything without a hubby. Yes, I let him get away with not helping around the house because I want him to play with the kids.

Yes, I am done venting now.

BUT, yes! He does love his job. Since he is gone so much, at least he's doing something he likes :)

Scripture

Wyatt has the scripture in primary on Sunday. So before bed last night we started practicing with him. Ugh, this kid is so wild. Here is how our practice session went: (3 nephi 30:2)

Brock: Come
Wyatt: (yelling because we told him to talk loud) come here, come here, come here
Me: Wyatt, copy what daddy says. And talk softer.
Brock: Come
Wyatt: come on, come on, come on
Brock: unto me
Wyatt: me
Brock: and be baptized
Wyatt: BAPTIZED, BAPTIZED (yelling!!)
Brock: in my name
Wyatt: Wyatt, wyatt, wyatt (he was saying his name)
Brock: No, wyatt say 'in my name'
Wyatt: ahhhh, Brock, brock brock
Emily: (trying to hide my laughing!!!)
Brock: that ye may receive
Wyatt: me see
Brock: remission
Wyatt: I on a mission!!!

(the whole time he is bouncing on his knees and playing with his bed)
Ya I will stop there. I'm thinking we need A LOT more practice before Sunday! LOL
