Cousins come to play

Jande had her baby, little Ally Rochelle, on Dec 19th. She weighed 7lb 15oz, just like wyatt! The rest of the kids came to stay at moms for a night and boy did they all have a party. Jilayne's kids came down too. Wyatt doesn't get to play with Brayden very often, but they sure hit it off and really had fun together. They watched Kung Fu Panda 2 and wyatt had to sit by brayden the whole time!

Eppich Party

Wyatt got his first christmas gift from Grandpa Eppich and Grandma Anita. Surprisingly, he knew exactly what to do with it. He jumped the gun a little and opened before everyone else did. This child really doesn't understand "no." He got a coloring book, crayons, and a top-which he loves to try and spin himself! We went caroling this night too, but Brock stayed home with Wyatt because they both had not been feeling that great. Poor brock has been battling a head cold for about 1.5weeks. He is getting better, but it's weird because normally he is the one that skips the sicknesses.

Holiday Baking

We didn't do a lot of candy baking this year. Just a few pretzel sticks and oreo balls. I love these pictures of wyatt and brooklyn. We don't have very many of them together. Both their smiles crack me up!

S.A.N.T.A !!!

Since Wyatt didn't get to see Santa last year, I think we've made up for it this year! He has seen Santa 4x now. Back in La Grande at Walmart, at the Mesa craft show, the CBW chirstmas party and the BC ward christmas party. He has done great and liked him every time. By the 3rd time, he actually was kicking me and pushing to go see him. He was smiling and helped his cousin Paisley not be scared. They did great!

Afterward I was trying to get them to show me their bags and Wyatt just randomly went over and was trying to hug and kiss Pais. Normally she is all for this stuff, but he caught her off gaurd. So cute!

Um....yes, by the 3rd time seeing Santa, he knew there were treats in the bag. I caught him digging in!
Another funny thing about the CBW party. They had the mutual age kids on the stage singing Silent Night and all the sudden I see Wyatt running and jumping around on the stage in front of them all. Seriously, so embarrassing! He has a VERY hard time sitting still. So we kinda just let him run around that night and it back fired!!!

This was at the BC ward party. We had to decorate our own table, so mom took these fun santa hats. Wyatt and Chandler had fun seeing Santa together. These boys are BEST of friends. Their eyes literally light up when they see eachother. They are starting to get into things too. Brock caught them hiding behind a side table eating choc the other day. Wyatt opens the doors and then then sneak outside, and very recently they have started shutting the door behind them so we don't know they are gone! And poor brooklyn is stuck in the middle of all these boys, sometimes they aren't nice to her either :(

This and That

We are so grateful to my parent's for letting us stay with them for a whole month. It is hard coordinating everyone's schedules now that Sarah is home too, but we have a lot of fun together! Here are a few of the daily things we've been doing.

Brock has some great talent and as our college days are close to being over, I can't wait to take advantage of his talent. As for now, he has been making these SUPER cute chunky shelfs and saling them on craigslits. He sold 2 in one day, and has 2 more to make for sales within the family. I was so sad to see them leave, they are so much cuter in real life. I posted this picture so we don't forget to make me one in the future! :)

Home for the Holidays

Brock was able to get done with finals early and we came home December 6th. He doesn't go back to school til January 9th, yep, a whole month off! We got to my mom's to find a tore up bathroom. This is the only bathroom with a tub, so Wyatt had to adjust to the shower. He screamed the first few times, and hated it. Now he loves them and screams when he comes out. Dad had started the bathroom Dec. 6th, and it is just about done today, Dec. 23rd. It has been EXTREMELY difficult keeping Wyatt away from all the commotion going on in there. Brock has been helping throughout the process, so that makes it even harder to keep Y away from his daddy. Y can open doors and is constantly going outside because he see the guys going in and out. Y also sneaks into the bathroom a lot and get very dirty. I have been doing lots of laundry! It has been great for Brock to help out. He helped out just a few days with Chad's house last Christmas and today I told him he will be very prepared for when we are redoing our house....oh but that will be a LONG while!

December in La Grande

We weren't in La Grande for much of December, but we did enjoy every day of it. The night before we left Steve and Alysha Lester brought over hot choc and we had some together. This is wyatt's first taste of it and he LOVED it! He drank all mine!

HO HO HO

This is the second time Wyatt has seen Santa this year and he is doing pretty darn good! He was looking at the kids to the side in this picture, but other than that he doesn't scream or even cry when he sits on his lap. I was shocked. He does a little better about getting a decent picture if I'm next to him. He saw Santa again last night at the Columbia Basin ward party, so I will get more pics up soon from that. We are getting so excited for Christmas!

talented hubby!

When Brock and I first got married he tried explaining his woodcrafting talent to me...and I didn't really get the picture. Over the past 4+ years, I have definitely got the picture! He is so talented. Currently, he is restoring an old hutch we found in my praents' shop. He is so excited about it, he loves turning junk into treasure, or pieces of wood into furniture! I am lucky that he is kind enough to cut out the crafts I want. I love doing these kind of things, and I can't wait for a future where the woodshop isn't 100+ miles away. Thanks hun, I LOVE YOU!

Wyatt. Wyatt. Wyatt.

You know those kids that act crazy and you think "their parents must let them get away with everything" or "their parents must not work with them at home" Well that is my kid (the days I swore my future child would never be like that are coming back to haunt me!) Every day I work with him AT LEAST 2 different times and about 10-15 mins at a time. We play games, puzzles, read books, bubbles, balloons or color. I have been coming up with new interactive games to teach/encourage him....yet he still has a small attention span.  I know all boys do, but really.....this boy will not sit in one place for hardly anything! With that said, we are constantly on the GO and it is FUN. Wyatt really knows what he wants these days. He is always growing and changing. He can match all his colors and shapes, which shows me he is soaking things in and learning great. He can match all his colors and shapes, which shows me he is soaking things in and learning great. One thing he LOVES is motorcycles, and especially Brock's Xbox motorcycle racing. He usually ends up fighting with Brock over the controller. lol. My boys!

Lately, has doesn't want to go to bed at night. He is tired, but gets up there and just plays around for about 10-20minutes. Every night when I go to bed, his light is on and he is in some weird position! Few nights ago he was in this position. He LOVES the blue/brown blanket with the dog paws on it. I don't know how he picked that one out of the 4 that he has, they feel exactly the same. I will bring one down to cuddle with him at night and he will go back upstairs and switch it out for this dog one.

He is a little cutie pie! He just melts my heart every day. I can't believe how big he is. He can reach all the light switches and door knobs that he couldn't just 1month ago. These shoes are size 9, but a little big still. He figured out about 1month ago, how to open the door, even the dead bolt....since then our life has been changed! I catch him going outside AT LEAST 10x a day. He will go outside barefoot with snow or rain. He just loves being outside and free.....kinda sounds like someone else I know, maybe his daddy?!

Thanksgiving Break

We had a great thanksgiving break. Like always, Brock surprised me with a phone call saying, let's go home early. He was supposed to have a 2 day accounting test, but the teacher said whoever wanted could do it all in one day (monday), so he did that and we went home later that day. Brock ended up doing really well on that test, got a 97%. Wyatt was excited to go home and see all his cousins. He had said "chandler" randomly 3x that week! This kid....I think he knows his momma doesn't have much patience and he loves testing it. He only speaks when he wants to. We were at a hardware store and in the knobs section and he grabbed a door handle and said "door." He said it like 3x and then was done. Such a stinker. Him not talking has been difficult for me because he can't communicate what he wants...most of the time he is able to pull me to what he wants. But sometimes, we can get a little frustrated with eachother! We did start teaching him sign language, just a few signs to help with his basic needs. He caught on so quickly, I was surprised. By the end of the first day he was signing "more please."

Anyway, thanksgiving was great. Brock woke up early and played volleyball at columbia basin church, then went and played football at Edwin Markham. Meanwhile, Sarah and I did our work out video and we started looking through the ads. We went to Gibbons for lunch at 1:00 and had SO much GOOD food. Then we went to the church with the whole Gibbons clan to play vball and dodgeball. It was a great day with food and family. We did do black friday again this year, except it wasn't too exciting because no one was really getting anything huge. Mom, Sarah, Karigan and I left around 4am (by that time walmart was completely deserted bc they had opened at 10pm the previous day). I got a few toys for Wyatt is all. I didn't really take any pictures this whole trip, just one day when the kids were over and wyatt was loving being around his cousins! I was watching Jilayne's kids and then she watched Wyatt that night so we could go to the temple.

Poor guy, he is going to hate me for taking this picture when he is older. It's just so cute how he says "cheese" these days...missing tooth and all :)

Grandma McGary had bought a race car thing that didn't work right, so we invented something new with it. The kids loved it!
