Wyatt has started talking A TON more in the last 3 months. It is so nice. There are still a lot I don't understand, but it's so great we can actually communicate! Some funny things he's saying lately...
"quiet b-ie (brynlie)! Mommy's comin."
"uh oh, daddy did it." (and daddy is not even around)
"daddy workin green tractor"
"what come eat (or change your clothes, or brush teeth)" "i aly did mom, i aly did." --and he didn't!
"wyatt mommy's going to go shower, you stay here and play." "ok mom, have fun."
Our little family of four loves: riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, wrestling with daddy, playing "cycles xbox" going to the farm and being with family. We are so blessed to be sealed in the temple and have our family together forever. We consist of Brock (28) Emily (25) Wyatt (3) Brynlie (born sept 2012)

Brynlie's Arrival
Phew, it has been 5 weeks since brynlie came into our home and I haven't got around to documenting it. I did the essentials in my journal but just in case ya'll want to hear how blessed I was this go around...here it is...
I was nervous about attempting a vbac (vaginal delivery after cesearan). I had a very rough go around with wyatt, I just really wanted things to go smooth this time. Having a scheduled day and time kinda sounded a lot easier than doing a normal delivery, but for some reason I just felt like it would be ok and had to attempt it. I had been dilated and having contractions for a month, so I knew baby was coming early. My dr kept saying he couldn't believe she was still in me, every time we had another appt. I was dilated 4cm for over a week before she actually came. I felt so different than wyatt, I just woke up one day and was in labor with him. This one teased and teased and TEASED me about coming. Starting at 34 weeks! So it was a long last month and half to say the least!
I had told everyone I was going to have her on a friday. That would give me the longest time with my husband because he would get the day I had her off and the day after. Since they don't dig spuds on Sunday, I'd get an extra day! :) Thursday Sept 20th I woke up feeling junky. I had been feeling great, so I thought I was getting some flu bug or something. I had been in the bathroom like 3-4times by noon. I called Jande and she said she did the same thing with Brayden. YAY! But as the day went on, nothing. It was still SUPER hot outside, so we went on a couple walks to the church. Nothing. I was pretty bummed, but still thought maybe during the night. Nope. I woke at 3:30am and couldn't figure out why. But then couldn't go back to bed. By 4:30am when brock got up to go to work I was feeling something happening every 8 mins, but it def wasn't painful. After a few other details I'll spare you of, I decided we'd better go because they were sometimes every 5mins...still no pain. Got to hospital and yep contractions every 3-5mins. They thought baby was head down, but face up. So we did lunges, walks, yoga moves...all sorts of stuff trying to get her to turn. I was admitted around 8:45am and still no pain. I was still at 4cm so I was given one dose of PIT and then around 10am dr broke my water. The nurse kept telling me get epidural before, but I wasn't in pain, at all, so I didn't. PHEW, the very first contraction after my water broke was a shocker, then it was very painful from then on! I got epidural at 11 and was dilated 8cm. By the time they were done with the epidural I told nurse I was feeling it all still and felt pressure. Sure enough I was at 10cm. We got the dr over and started pushing at noon. I was so exhausted and was really thinking I couldn't do it after 30mins. But something happened inside me in the last 3 pushes and she came out. I just kept thinking I CAN do this and really didn't want c-section after all that I'd been through. After 42mins pushing she was out....with some help from the dr's scissors...ok, lots of help (ya ouch later on!!!). I couldn't believe how instantly my heart loved this little black haired baby. She was so much bigger than I had thought and so much cuter! :) It was so nice being there for the birth and seeing her being weighed, hearing the first cry, knowing that she is perfect. We came home the next day. With Wyatt we stayed 1 week! Oh, so nice coming home.
Wyatt does so good with her. Like really good. He talks to her when she's crying, gets her diapers, tells me when she's "poopy, cold, hungry, happy, awake, sad." He does tell her to be quiet a lot. He can't say bryNlie, he calls her b-ie. It's so cute. He loves kissing her, but nothing more than that. Only holds her for like 5seconds and hasn't seemed jealous yet. It's been a hard adjustment because she hasn't been that easy. But I was so ready for another precious spirit in our home. She is just perfect and we L.O.V.E her!

WOW!
THIS POST IS MAINLY FOR MY RECORDS. SO I CAN REMEMBER FOR FUTURE BABIES! (which I should be putting in my journal, but I am out of pages and getting to the store for a new one doesn't look like it'll be happening any time soon:)
Brynlie is almost a month old and I REALLY can't believe it. I honestly feel like it was last week I was in the hospital praying I could do a vbac and that everything would go good. I think the main reason it feels like last week is because every day I just survive. I keep thinking 'tomorrow I'm going to sew more burp rags, or bake pumpkin bread, or make cookies for brock's lunches.' Tomorrow comes and its the same thing over again, surviving. Just the last couple of days I started not caring if the toys are all over and the dishes aren't done...which is a big deal for me because I hate mess! I'm very slowly learning how to do two children. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my baby and kid. If I could just sit and hold her all day, or play with him all day life would be amazing....it's the "chores" that make the days hard!
Brynlie is now on day 10 of not pooping. Around day 7 she started getting uncomfortable and it's been downhill since then. She grunts, moans and wiggles around like crazy. I feel so bad for her. She tries to sleep through it, but ends up waking up about every 10minutes grunting and moaning. I took her to the doctor this morning and we did a suppository, didn't work. She does have jaundice and so we are waiting for results on the levels. We have tried a lot of natural stuff to get her to poop, moving her legs a ton, giving water, rubbing her tummy, and giving hot baths. I have changed my diet completely because she is also very gasy. Nothing is helping. Hoping today she will go!
Brynlie is definitely giving me all new experiences. Seems like she refuses to be like her brother in any way. He LOVED his binki, I have to force her to take it and most the time she spits it out after about 5 mins. He went 3-4hours between feedings from week 2. She LOVES eating and rarely goes longer than 2 hours. His cry was very soft and quiet, hers is loud. She doesn't cry a lot, just mainly when she gets woke up from some gas or something. I remember only having like 2times where I was thinking " I don't know what's wrong with you" with wyatt....I think that about 5times a day with Brynlie. Wyatt wasn't gasy, she is. She has jaundice, he didn't. She is constipated, he never had problems. She loves to be patted on the bum, bounced up and down and walked around. I almost always have to stand up when holding her. Wyatt hated being bounced up and down. Phew...there's so much more. She just wants to be her own self!
