Wyatt 3yr check up:
35lbs 79th percentile and 3ft 4.5in 97th percentile
Brynlie 4month check up:
15lbs 12oz. 75th percentile
26.5in 98th percentile
Conclusion. Tall and skinny kids. (brynlie def doesn't look skinny!)
It was nice to finally go to a well check and have Wyatt be ahead of the normal. I know it's not a huge deal, but all the check ups where he was so far behind really get to a momma, and make ya worry.
Our little family of four loves: riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, wrestling with daddy, playing "cycles xbox" going to the farm and being with family. We are so blessed to be sealed in the temple and have our family together forever. We consist of Brock (28) Emily (25) Wyatt (3) Brynlie (born sept 2012)

Christmas Day
Don't the presents looks so pretty?!
Christmas was so good, as always. It had been pretty warm the week before, but it snowed a lot Christmas day. We were spoiled this year. Wyatt's birthday is so close to Christmas, so poor guy doesn't get a whole lot. But it is plenty for him. Santa brought him a bike, and that's all the mattered.
Santa made Brynlie a blanket and a skirt, brought her a book and a toy. Mr. Clause didn't think she needed anything since she isn't aware at all, but Mrs. Clause felt really bad and just did a few things. Wyatt was a little more spoiled. Santa brought him a Cars camping chair, bat, popcorn, new coat and PJs. We got him a train set, Word World dvd, and some Pumpa sweat pants.
Brock REALLY spoiled me. He made me some a riser thing for the laundry room, lots of clothes, Roxy shoes that I love, necklaces, and made me a shelf. I only knew about the laundry room thing, that's all I pretty much wanted. He insisted he didn't want anything. I was at a loss. I got him a pair of shoes (he took them back. Shoes are really hard to find because of his foot. It hurts him a lot these days) 2 pairs of pants, and a shirt. BUT 2 days after Christmas he bought himself a street bike, so I didn't feel so bad after that. We got a BBQ, BBQ set, popcorn popper, and a little kids table. We got a camping stove, a purse, and TJmaxx card from his parents. WAY too much. We truly are so blessed.
Santa hid Wyatt's bike under a blanket because he knew that if he saw it first, all the other toys wouldn't matter. Smart Santa because once he saw the bike, all the toys were done with. Wyatt kept saying "Silly Santa, he hid my bike." I made Brynlie this elephant. Wyatt gave it to her for Christmas. It was 25$ plus 8$ for shipping on etsy. So I created my own out of materials I had on hand. It looks easy, but was a lot harder than I anticipated. I had to hand draw the shape and I am SO not a drawer. But, I was pretty happy with it.
Lane McGary Christmas Party
We finally decided it was time to start a Lane McGary Christmas party. We ate, did Ally's 1yr bday party, went caroling, opening cousin exchange gifts, and did a fun little pass the gift game for the kids. It was so fun to spend time with my siblings again. It was Sarah and Dexter's first night back from college and we all enjoyed the night. For the first time in a LONG time we were finally able to play adult games. Mainly due to the garage my dad built. It was so nice to boot the kids out there to play!
There are now 12 grandkids. They LOVE going to Grandma's house and always have so much fun together.
Recently....
So recently Wyatt has been changing and I wanted to note it.
- He has always called Brynlie "B-ie" But one week ago he randomly started calling her "Binlie" Then I noticed yesterday he was saying it correctly "Brynlie" It's so cute!
- He used to add an "a" before everything. Example "a daddy come home?" "a chandler come to my house" Sometime in the last month he has dropped the "a" I thought it was so cute when he did it, it's fun seeing him grow up.
- Teaching Wyatt his ABCs has been a challenge. Probably about 2-5x a day he'll randomly see a letter or number and tell me what it is. But when we sit down and work on learning them, he gets them wrong and doesn't want to tell me what the letters are. Stubborn.
- Working on letters, I am working on his name. He used to know "W" but every time we talk about it in the last month he always says it's a "double me." I had no idea what he was talking about until the other day I realized "W: double you." So he would say "double me." LOL. Kinda cute! :)
- He is progressing every day. On Sunday I realized he is adding "ing" to things. "Mommy, the truck is going!"
- He has his daddy's road rage "GO TRUCK GO" when stopped at a red light. Brock tends to yell the same thing when the light has been green for a little while.
- About a month ago he was in my room playing trucks on the bed like he always does and I was getting ready. My make up fell on the ground and he says "what's that noise?" I said "it was mommy's make up, it fell." He says "what ya makin? You making your face?" lol.
Brynlie's recently been changing too.
- Started rolling over January 25th at Tony Bodily's house in Logan, UT.
- Started 9month PJs last week and they fit just fine :(
- Is sleeping 4-7 hours at night! This past week she did so good the whole week. I would put her down at 9:30pm and she would wake around 4:30am to eat. BLISS!
- She is not self entertained like Wyatt was. Her toys don't keep her happy for long. She doesn't like the toy part on in the bouncer, she'd rather have them off and can see me.
Mommy's recently.
- I am lucky to have been in my normal jeans and button them up since December. I still have lots of spots to tone up, but it's nice being able to wear all my clothes. I hadn't weighed myself for a long time, and after our week long trip eating out I weighed myself at Joni's and I was shocked. 122lbs. Yay! I started with brynlie at 122. I told brock that's why you can't just go off of weight, I still have a long ways to go to look like I used to, just because I weigh the same doesn't mean I am the same! I have only been doing sit ups and push ups because I am scared if I work out I won't be able to feed Brynlie. By this time with Wyatt I was working out 1.5hours a day and was only feeding him morning and sometime at night. So I'm holding off on the intense working out stuff.
