4th of July

Our 4th of July started bright and early at the Columbia Basin Ward breakfast at 7:30am. We picked some cheeries at the Gibbons farm before heading to the Basin City parade. I thought Wyatt would absolutely love it with all the tractors and firetrucks. The first firetruck ruined it by surprising us all with throwing water instead of candy  (lots of floats spray water but normally they are towards the end and everyone is prepared for it). He was pretty scared from then on. He did love the tractors, 4wheelers and horses. There is always TONS of candy thrown, and like always, he wasn't too interested in it. We went to McGary's for lunch and then Gibbons later in the afternoon. We headed to Mauseth's pond with Gibbons and had a blast. The row boats were the best and the boys got crazy in their boat and ended up in the water a few times. It was so late by the time we were done at the pond, we had to head straight to the fireworks. It was a LONG day and Wyatt was so tired. He slept from Gibbons to the fireworks, had a blast playing with all the friends waiting for the fireworks to start, then got scared once they did. I was shocked. He had to be held the whole time. It was such a fun day. I'm so glad Brock was able to get it off, love days we can spend time with him!

(above) Brock put Wyatt up on that ledge and he loved it at first, until he realized he couldn't get down and daddy had to get a chair to get him down. (below) Wyatt loves guns! We were searching for Father's Day gifts and he found lots of toy guns.

6 months. Going to the endowment session for Sarah.

AgriNorthwest Pool party! It was so much fun. The company rented the Hermiston Water Park and served dinner and Schwans ice cream. They had a bounce house too. This was the first time Wyatt had gone swimming all summer, he was in heaven. It was so fun for him and he was screaming when it was time to leave. July 7th, 2012.

Sarah's Wedding

I am playing catch up here. Sarah got married on June 22nd. It was so fun to see her and Dexter in the temple together. So fun that our family is now complete, minus the grandkids continually being added. We are so lucky Dexter is pretty close and they will be around after the school years. How my mother got us ALL to marry close is a great question. We are so blessed to be close enough to see each other on special occasions, yet far enough away that it's still exciting to see each other :) Jilayne took most of the pictures for the day, so when I get them I will add hers. This is about all I took, or stole from others' blog.

GRADUATION

On Saturday, June 16th we left at 5:30am to head back to La Grande for brock's commencement ceremony. I am so glad we decided to have brock walk. It was such a good day to reflect and celebrate his accomplishments! I am SO stinking proud of him. He even finished with a 3.86 GPA. Pretty darn good I'd say! He really enjoyed his schooling, especially his time at EOU because he loved the Ag program there. His degree is actually through OSU, but he attended the EOU campus.

(above) Wyatt was so cute clapping and screaming at EVERY time the crowd did. But after about 15mins he realized it wasn't too exciting and we had to distract him other ways. (below) Grandpa took him out to go potty and they ended up going to the track and running around for about 45mins.

Brock 27, Emily 24, Wyatt 2.5, and baby girl 6months prego. SO GLAD we did it while we are young! Can't imagine having more kiddos throughout this process!

Family support. Couldn't have done it without our parents. They were always so supportive!
