...as a matter of fact...

I went to my dr's appt and found out that I am actually perfect in size! haha. I measured 31.5 cm, a little rule of thumb, they say I should be 33cm because i'm 33 weeks. But he said give or take a few cm is ok, so I'm just under the perfect size! UH, take that coworker! haha.

My little guys heartbeat has always been super high! It started out at 187! They said it drops the farther I get, and it has, but it was still in the "upper 150s." My dr said, "you sure you're having a boy because this heartbeat is and has been so high." I have been having a few dreams that my baby is born and it's a girl and I just wanted to cry. I wanted a girl at the beginning, but now I'm TOTALLY planning on a boy and would be very.....sad if we were wrong all along. I'm not thinking it will be a girl; I know so many babies defy the odds of the heartbeat theory. I just thought it was funny my dr said that! I'm still plannin on everything blue, pretty sure the ultra sound showed the appropriate male parts;)

Wow, 33 weeks TODAY! :)

Seriously, where has the time gone? There were/are so many things to do before this baby gets here! I remember thinking when I was 4 months, I still have plenty of time to get everything ready....now i'm thinking, I still have time to get ready, but really it's coming SO soon! With Thanksgiving this week and then Christmas right after that, I just know I'll be rushing to get everything ready before he arrives! Uh, I better get going!

Pregnancy.... a few thoughts about it. For the most part, I've had a great pregnancy so far. No major concerns, no ER trips, nothing really abnormal....but wow is pregnancy different than I thought. I can't believe the changes one goes through! Not just physically but emotionally too! I get a little more frustrated these days with comments people at work make. Most the time the patients say "your so little!" But the other day my boss asked (and we was being serious) if the doctors thought I was having 2 or even 3 since I'm so big.....UH NOPE JUST ONE!!!! Then a coworker asked me 3 times in one day if I was feeling ok. I knew I hadn't had a lot of time to get ready that day, but it wasn't like I went without makeup or anything. I was feeling fine, but by the third time she added the "you just look CRUMMY" and I had had it with her! This is what I mean by emotionally...I think I could have physically hurt her if I wasn't such a nice persion. This past week I have really started to feel huge. Getting up from a chair, a couch, and the bed has become a whole new experience in the last week. Brock is being super helpful and he'll pull me up. haha. Wow, the changes really are so funny! I laugh at the different things I'm going through, it's not really that fun, but seriously pretty funny how different life is with a big ol belly!

This past week my bad has started KILLING me! It's not my lower back like I've heard other people have. Luckily when brock was hurt I massaged his foot for almost 1 hour every night...so he is being a great husband and repaying me. THANKS HUN! Brock has been so busy with school this quarter. He has spanish and chemistry which has really made him work. He's doing so good though! I'm so proud of him for sticking with school, it's not an easy thing but he's doing great!

I go in for my next dr's appt tomorrow and I can't wait. It feels like a long time since i've been to the dr. My baby is so active! He is constantly kicking and moving, so I'm not concerned about him being ok, I just love hearing the heartbeat and stuff! I don't have any pictures to post right now, maybe next time.....but then again maybe not too:)

Changes in Appearance!!!

Brock looked lovely when he came home from hunting. This is him half shaved. He left it like this all Sunday...everyone was wondering about him! lol. It was pretty funny, for a day.

This is me right before my 29 week appt. I'm just over 7 months! The belly is getting big!

This one is around 27 weeks. He's growing slowly so it's so crazy to see the changes there are in even 2 weeks! My 7 month check up went great. I drank the nasty juice, or straight sugar, and the results came back good, not diabetic! Yay! (you have to ignore the funny face, I'm not feeling very photogenic(sp!) these days!)

Fun Projects

Since there are so many birthdays in October/November I decided to make a craft. I got the idea from Brittney Anderson, thanks brittney! I made 8 different sets and made them all different, which was the hard part! All the birthdays are: my sis-in-laws Jande, Karyn, and Camille. Sister Jilayne and my moms is early November. (mine is in october too so we have lots of birthdays!)

My mom put together a craft for us to do this last weekend. The wreaths all turned out really good, but mainly because my mom picked out good stuff:) It was fun and stressful! I've never worked with flowers, but I was pretty happy with the way it turned out.

These pictures are all out of order...sorry...I made these fall blocks a while ago.

All of us with our wreaths. My neice Madie took the picture....so it was a great one:)

My mother in law was nice enough to let me take some of her produce and make this. I grabbed the board from the shop and just started painting. It makes the outside of our house a little more inviting....distracts people, a little bit, from all the nasty cobwebs!

We took a trip to Utah for conference and had so much fun!

Our first time to temple square together! I love this temple!!!!

We had fun goofing around too. We went with ben and sonya.

HOLY COW! look at the belly! It's bigger now but I don't have any good ones recently.

For Brock's bday I made him a tractor cake....wow, it turned out but it took a whole morning to make it work...and keep the house from burning down:) lol, RIGHT JANDE?! lol

My boy LOVES playin around!

Brock had a little accident down at the river the other day. He swears the truck got stuck by accident....hmmm, looks like he had a really fun accident:)

He's been having so much fun fishing lately. He caught 2 the other night and was pretty excited!

He turned 25 this past month! Holy cow! Old fart;) He loves this OGIO bag he got from his parents.

His brother Derek raced at the Dayton Days....it was fun to watch!

This picture was a while ago. Brock has so much fun going riding with all the guys. I always tell him he has so many hobbies....and they're so dang expensive! Riding, hunting, fishing, woodworking..... oh well, keeps him happy:)

Correction!

I don't know why I wrote that our little guy was 8oz .....he was actually 13oz. I was typing fast. The normal for how far along I am is 10oz. so he's just a little bit big for his age:)

HALF WAY DONE!!!!

I had my 5 Month appt this week and I'm feeling pretty big. Our baby is 8oz which is a little above the normal weight and I'm on the upper end of the scale for weight gain! I knew it! These last 2 weeks I wake up and I swear I'm 5lbs heavier! haha. I know, a lot of you are thinking "you have a long ways to go" and I know I do....but wow!
The appt went good and we found out what we're having....

....A LITTLE BROCK!!!!

Prego Pics

We floated the Columbia River with Jason and Karyne a few weeks ago from Ringold to Green Island. It was a short float but it was so hot outside so it was perfect. I'm just starting to show here.

Like always, I got the pictures out of order.... I am almost 17 weeks in this picture. I swear, these pictures don't do justice to the actual size. I look at these and think wow I'm not that big....but I swear in real life it's bigger:)
I think my butt is growing just as much as my tummy! GROSS!
(below) This picture is around 13 weeks. Growing fast!

Hikin' in the Caves

We went to some caves out past Yakima a couple weekends ago with my family. It was a little ways up there, but we had a blast. The caves were perfect; the kids had fun but stayed on the path and Brock had fun finding new paths and new areas to explore. It was so cute/scary watching him; he was like a little boy out exploring. We had so much fun and decided we need to do things like this more often!!!
(Above) This was kind of at the opening of the caves so there was some light. Deep in the caves you had to have a flash light to see anything! The girls had headlights.

(We miss you Chad and Jande!!!)

Big News! :)

WE ARE PREGNANT!!! Yay! We told all our family on Fathers Day this last week so it is officially out! Brock and I found out the beginning of May, so it has been so hard for me to keep it in! We really wanted to wait and make sure I was past the really scary weeks; I am just about 3 months (like 2 days shy of it) and due January 10th. This will be a pretty crazy time because we are supposed to be moving the beginning of January to Pullman, so who knows what will happen. I would really like to have my delivery here at Kadlec, but I guess we'll see what the baby decides. We ARE going to find out what we're having. Everyone knows I am a HUGE planner, so I want to be able to plan for this little one while I'm pregnant. I am feeling junky; it used to be I was only sick like around 4-9pm, but the last week I've been sick all day, but still really bad at night. It's not very fun, that's for sure...but we're pushing through. My poor hubby has been picking up the slack. Since we're out of school I'm working full days and he is putting in really full days. He's at AgriNorthwest and loving it. He leaves about 5:30am and gets home around 6-7pm. Brock is hoping for a boy and I'm hoping for a girl, but we are both open to whichever. I wouldn't mind a little boy; just praying for a healthy baby! I feel like I'm already big. I can still wear my jeans (well most of them) but I have to unbutton them when I sit down...ugh, I'm not ready to gain the weight! I think I've covered most of the questions I get about every day. I'll post pictures sometime soon hopefully!

CHANGES

I have had a lot of questions about us going to La Grand OR in January....here's the scoop. Like 4 days after I posted we were moving to OR we looked into it and found out it was better for us to head to WSU Pullman. My schooling was really getting messed up, and Brock found out he can attend WSU in their crop science degree. So for the last few months we have been planning on attending WSU Pullman. Recently, we have been looking into it and we're still trying to decide. I think we have decided whichever places is cheaper. So we'll keep ya'll posted, but right now....we're up in the air, but we are moving somewhere the end of December! :)

Save Save Save!!

This last week I went grocery shopping with my sister Jilayne and she had coupons printed. I started thinking about this and figured, I really need to look into it. I found a blog (http://www.wantitall4free.blogspot.com/) that has helped me SO MUCH! There are a couple websites on this blog that have coupon links. I never realized I could get coupons from: American Eagle, PUMA, walmart, walgreens, target, macy, kohls, etc. Seriously, I'm excited about this! We'll see how it goes. Brock and I have been doing a budget and keeping track of where all our money goes which is good, but I need more options of how to save. Hopefully this will help :)

This last week we were without water and it was crazy. There have been some problems for the past 4-6 months and they are finally looking into it. We were supposed to be without water just from wednesday-friday, but then it changed from wednesday-monday. We decided to head to my parents house instead of keep buckets all over. On friday we were home for lunch and it was insane! We were really struggling w/o running water. You don't realize how much you use it until you don't have it. Washing hand, taking a shower, brushing your teeth, FLUSHING THE TOILET! We were really thankful my parents let us crash at their house, but we really hope the water is back today!

FUN TIMES TOGETHER

Brock and I went to the Supercross Races in Seattle last weekend and had a blast. We drove up and back in the same day (we're pretty much pro at doing this now!). Except for this time we were driving home from 11:30pm to 4:00am. We had to stop and take a nap half way home!

Luckily for us it was pretty cold up there and the "show girls" had more clothing on than normal.

I had never been to Quest field so it was really fun. We got there around 12:30pm and didn't leave until 11:00pm. It was an ALL DAY thing, but it was fun.
You can't see it very good but this is "Bubba Stuwart"-The fastest guy in supercross, but he didn't win that night, he actually go like 4th or something.

Funny Story: We bought the cheap-o tickets so we were WAY uptop. Ben and Brock have always bought the cheap ones and sat in the really nice seats. So this year we did the same thing. Sonya and I were so embarrassed because we ended up having to move FOUR times. We kept sitting in the nice padded seats and people would come and be like "you're in our seats." EMBARRASSING, but really funny!!! After the 4th time we were like, let's head to the top!
YAY, we had friends go with us. It was nice having them with us! Thanks for putting up with a married couple sonya and ben!!!

Our neighbor Bryce Ellison has airplanes and he invited me to go with. It was such a nice day and it beautiful from the sky! I lost my stomach a few times, but it was REALLY fun!

Baby Sitting

I don't get around to posting very often, so this was a while ago. I watched Jilayne's girls while she was painting her house. We had so much fun together!

The girls loved having collin (brocks cousin) over to hang out with.

Thanks for the fun time girls! ALMOST makes me want some of my own;)

BIG NEWS!!!!

We have some really big news....NO we're not pregnant...we're going to be moving. It isn't for a long time (january 2010) but I'm really excited. There has been a lot going on with us lately and I haven't posted for a long time...so here's what's new:
La Grand Oregon is where we will be moving to, I know, totally random. I never ever thought I would live in La Grand, but we found out about 1 month ago Brock's Agriculture degree (crop science/soils) isn't offered at WSU TC like we thought it would going to be. So his counselor found him the degree in La Grand at EOU and that's where we're going. It really didn't help me out, actually it REALLY messed things up for me, schooling wise. I was all set up to go to WSU TC in the teaching program. I had applied and was set up to start in august. Trying to get into the teaching program at EOU was crazy, I needed another whole year before I could get into the teaching program. We quickly decided that wasn't going to work. I feel like I've been in school forever, and want to finish ASAP! So I've thrown around a lot of different things, and I think we figured out that I will finish my BA through WSU online. Seems like the only thing going for me right now. I am stoked about the move though. I am really liking the fact that it's a ways from home, so we can have our space and stuff, yet it's still close enough that we can visit. I'm really excited to meet new people, experience the college life outside of CBC, enjoy new environments...it will be great. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT HERE, I have always said I didn't want to be stuck in the basin area the rest of my life and I felt like that was happening. It will be good for us to be away for a while and grow stronger.
I've heard there isn't a lot to do in La Grand, so that's kind of a bummer. When we found out WSU didn't have brock's program, we were really hoping we would be going back to BYU-Idaho. My best friend, Karie and John, are down there and I would have LOVED to go back there for 2 years...but I know this is the path the Lord wants us to take.

2009 Thus Far

HAHAHAHAHA! So we celebrated Vday on Friday night and when we were getting ready he came out of the shower like this. I know, a little too much skin for some of you...but I couldn't resist. He's so HOTT! And look how cute his chest looks! ohhhhhhh. thanks hun! I love you!

Brock made and sold 4 of the kitchen things that he made me for Christmas. He's pretty much amazing at everything he does. LOVE IT!

There were SO MANY dishes while we were painting, I just kept pushing them off til we were all done with the kitchen. haha, I hate that feeling of CLUTER everywhere!

Here are a few before pictures. I just hope we made it look better! I like it a ton better...we'll have to see how long it holds up!
I liked this (below) pic because it reminded me of a gingerbread house! Oh, I painted all the cracked because of that stupid paneling stuff! Omg, it wasn't fun.

Below- Yes, we had wallpaper before the paint. It was really coming off everywhere, definetely time for a change!

Brock made me this little add on of the cupboard thing. He's seriously SO talented. I love this little bakers rake my mom got me for Christmas! It's fun to decorate!
