Independence day!

I love the 4th of July! It's the only holiday that has hot weather and I just love being together with my family and swimming and fireworks! We did the usual this year. Breakfast at CBW, parade in Basin City, lunch at my moms (the brant merrill family came with us and it was so fun!), swimming at Gibbons pool, then fireworks on the river. It was a long day and hott! But really fun!

 This is the first year Wyatt has actually been interested in getting the candy! He didn't get to eat much of it (I know, I'm a mean mommy), but he still had fun.

 The food at my moms this year was amazing! Hamburgers on the treager, salads, desserts, homemade ice cream....yum!

 Ally and Brynlie matching. Last August we were all shopping together and these dresses were on clearance. So cute!

Story Time

Wyatt told me a story for the first time at bedtime last night. So cute. He had me pick an animal and a food : a bear and cookies (with his prompt on the cookies!)
Story went something like this.
"One time a big huge bear climbed up a tree to look around and find his mommy. He found his mommy and was happy and came down the tree to eat cookies. He then walked over to daddy's blue car and... (this is where the story kinda faded for a minute)......and then the bear went to sleep for night night."
