I haven't wrote down a lot of the cute things the kids say lately. I LOVE what comes out of their mouths, especially wyatt!
Brock was in Idaho for work last week and before he left he told Wyatt he was the man of the house and to take care of mommy and Brynlie. The next night after baths I was struggling to get brynlie's diaper on (like always). Wyatt came over and hit her bum. I asked him why he did that, and so matter of factly he said "Daddy said I am in charge while he's gone." Oh boy! lol. I couldn't help but smile, he was taking his duties very seriously.
A few weeks ago we got the bubbles down from the kids tub and wyatt's money was in there. He was SO sweet. He took it out and said "here mom. You can have this to buy a honda odyssey." Melted my heart. This kids knows we've been looking for SO long. It was his money saved for a dirt bike.
Since we now have a van. He told me I can have his money for a new bike. Him and daddy both have one, but mine has been broken for a while. This boy is seriously SO sweet. He was given 2 suckers by the Easter bunny, and he immediately took one and gave one to brock. "Here daddy, you can I have this one."
Brock gave Wyatt his old dirt bike helmet and boy was that a hit. I told brock we should have just given that to him for Easter. He now corrects anyone that calls his pedal bike a bike. "No remember mom, it's a dirt bike." The inside of his helmet is caked in spit from the dirt bike noises he makes THE ENTIRE time he's riding. We are in trouble......
Brynlie is on fire! Every day we find something new she can say. Lately it's been....well about everything. There are very few words she repeats after us, that don't sound like the real word. Recent words are: Brym- ie (Brynlie) ack (snack) gen gen (again) oooood (food) ouchy (ouch) air (hair) bath pay (play) cah (car) birrrrrr (burr) side (outside) bear, duhh (duck) nanny (candy) er-al (cereal) poooon (spoon)
I'm sure there's more.
Some of her favorites she's mastered for a while now are: shoe, Ay-at (wyatt), done, more, bam-ma (grandma, she says this all the time! When we see a white car like grandmas, when we drive anywhere she thinks we're going to bamma's house!), go, no, wah-wah (water) ishy (fishy) nigh nigh, bay-beee (baby) mu-wah (kisses), bee-ie (binki), ba-ba (bottle), eat, bowl, pork (spoon/fork).
She loves counting with wyatt too. She can count to three. And then just adds sounds to the rest of the numbers with wyatt. When counting to three, she uses her fingers. But only every gets 1 finger up. It's so cute!
Our little family of four loves: riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, wrestling with daddy, playing "cycles xbox" going to the farm and being with family. We are so blessed to be sealed in the temple and have our family together forever. We consist of Brock (28) Emily (25) Wyatt (3) Brynlie (born sept 2012)

Fire Station Field Trip
Our preschool group went to he Pasco fire station for a tour in February. It was fun! The kids were a little scared at times. Uncle Garrett Jenks was our great tour guide.
February 2014
Wyatt had BEGGED us for a gator like brooklyn has (jenks family) for Christmas. When Santa didn't bring it, he kept saying "maybe santa will bring it for my birthday." My heart just broke every time he brought it up, with was at least once a day. Brock would leave for work and completely serious wyatt would say "are you going to buy my gator today daddy?" So sad. We had no intentions on getting him one. We wanted to save for a 4-wheeler for next year when we live in the country. Luckily, we found a dune racer on craigslist for cheap. They had literally used it like 5 times, and it was in excellent condition. Wyatt was IN HEAVEN! And the coolest kid on the block! He wanted to ride that thing ALL the time. It was too cold for brynlie and I, so a lot of times we'd watch from the window. He was instantly a great driver. He knew how to back up around corners. It was really impressive!
Valentines was fun for us too! We all got spoiled (besides daddy, he said not to spend a dime on him). Brock surprised me with a decorated house and flowers, chocolates and balloon.
Wyatt had a preschool party and a church friends party. I felt horrible because he really wanted gummy worm valentine. But I didn't go to the store to get them in time for his preschool party. So I stay up very late to get them done for his church friends party. He was happy and that's all I cared about. Hate seeing his little heart so sad! (made his valentines with my christmas gift. loving my silhouette cameo!!!)
Brock fixing our roof. Love this crazy adventurous guy! (and love my house, tear tear)
(above) The kids can't wait to move out to the country! Wyatt was packing already. Hopefully they are this much help when we actually do move ;)
We had the best snow storm beginning of February!
January 2014
January was fun! We started the New Year off sick, so we slept our way into 2014. But we've been busy ever since! My cuties just keep getting cuter, bigger, and smarter. Brock was gone for 10 days for work and play. So we did a lot of playing too. Spent time at my moms house, made some crafts, organized the toys, and snuggled a lot.
Wyatt turns FOUR!
I can't believe my little guy is SO big! FOUR. Wow. We kind of messed up on his birthday this year. It fell on a sunday, and we were going to play it off as if his birthday wasn't until the following saturday because that's when we were having a pool party. Well, we realized they'd sing to him at church, and grandma McGary wanted to come into town to give him his gift. So after he went to bed saturday night, we rushed to make his real birthday somewhat special. He was excited because we hadn't even told him it was his birthday the next day. His funnest gift was a razor scooter and cones to make a race track. We played with it a lot inside, then eventually it got moved to an outside toy. Brock has all his actual birthday pictures on his phone, so hopefully I can update this later with those.
Wyatts dr appt was 2/25/14 and he was 41lbs 8oz 84% and 43 1/4in tall 94%. He is always growing! I swear! I got him out of the bath the other day, turned to help brynlie, then turned back and completely misjudged where his head. It was one of the moments you blink and all the sudden he was 10 inches taller. It made me stop in my tracks and give him a huge hug. LOVE this little guy! He is my buddy all day long and I'd like to say I'm his favorite, but everyone knows his daddy is by FAR his favorite person ever. He ADORES his dad.
Wyatt HAD to have a "rainbow cake from Costco" for his birthday.
If you ask Wyatt what he wants to be, he says a race driver.
