Brock took this week off of work so we could get things all ready to move on saturday and I am SO glad he did. We haven't seen him a lot this summer, so we needed some family time. We took off Monday afternoon and headed to Wind Dust to camp for the night. Jason and Karyn came too, they brought my parents' camper trailer and we set up a tent. It was so much fun. I LOVE family time and Wyatt has so much fun playing with Chandler. I am really sad to see what happens when we move. Even though Wyatt can't really talk yet, Chandler is very verble and is constantly saying "Y, Y, Y" (sometimes he adds a T at the end). I think they will miss each other a lot when we move, but good thing for Holidays and a quick drive home! There was a nice little play ground at wind dust that was great for them to play on. I love that Wyatt is at the stage where I don't have to chase him around the playground the whole time and watch him super carefully (knock on wood!). We have taken him to playgrounds a lot, so he loves to go down the slide by himself and can climb and play all by himself. Monday night a lot of Brock's family came out for dinner. Daren and Joni, Camille and Travis, Derek and Courtney all came out for a couple hours. It was fun to have a camp fire and hang out with family. I especially loved the tent time. Wyatt and Chandler loved setting it up and had so much fun running in and out and jumping all around. We knew it would get really cold that night, so we were prepared with lots of blankets. We wrapped wyatt up so good, he slept amazingly! As we layed in bed that night, I had to thank my Heavenly Father for such a wonderful family. It was such a great feeling having our little family all bundled together in the tent. The next morning Wyatt woke around 6:30 and BURR it was freezing outside. We had used all our wood up, and it was way too cold to be outside, so we played in the tent and then in the camper til it got a little warmer. It was a very quick trip, but just perfect for a little get away and family time!
Our little family of four loves: riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, wrestling with daddy, playing "cycles xbox" going to the farm and being with family. We are so blessed to be sealed in the temple and have our family together forever. We consist of Brock (28) Emily (25) Wyatt (3) Brynlie (born sept 2012)

move in...move out...{repeat}
About a month before we move I get really excited and start to look forward to the change. THEN, about 1-2 weeks before the move, like right now, I start to get really stressed and dread packing, moving, and unpacking. It seems to really drain me, especially since Wyatt is in a very needy stage right now. I have to have my full attention on him. I can be in the same room watching him play and all is fine, but if I'm in the same room and loading a box or going through papers...not ok. He needs a play mate, that's for sure!
We are heading back to La Grande sometime between the 24th and the 27th. School starts the 26th, but we are getting our apartment finalized and they aren't sure when it will all be ready. I am anxious to get back down there and be close to our friends again. We had a lot of really fun times with everyone! It works out so much easier when you only live like 3-4minutes away from each other. We got together so many times after Wyatt went to bed, which here we would be like, "oh it's way too late." I am also excited for Brock to be done the end of March 2012. Seemed like graduation would never come, yet it's gone so fast and I can't believe it's just around the corner. I am SO proud of him. He went from hating school in high school and even failing a class (or two, i'm not sure), to having a 3.8GPA and really loving his schooling. He enjoys the classes in his Ag field and loves learning more about plants. He will be a great farmer some day!!!
