Catch Up #3

Almost done updating! 

Sept 6th- Grapes are hard work!! Our grapes remind me of the vines that instantly grow on the movie Jumangi! Every week I am pruning the grapes and roses in the back yard. I finally decided to make a wreath out of the vines, it took a lot of work!

Sept 10th- Brynlie's hair cut. She had some really long pieces and at times it was crazy looking. I never should have touched it, but I decided it needed to be trimmed up. It cut off her curls on the sides too :( Now you can see why I cried for a week when I looked at her. The before picture was the morning of her hair cut, she looked so different after. Now I am used to it and like it. 

Sept 11th- We made a few batches and different recipes of cinnamon rolls. All tasted great, we just couldn't get them to look great. Wyatt loves playing on the farm with his cousins! 

I haven't talked much about my Primary calling. 1st counselor. And we are busy! I was in charge of the primary program. Pretty stressful! This picture is the 2.5 hrs we spent getting the kids' Christmas gifts put together.

Brynlie's first doll, homemade wheat bread with honey butter (ammmmmmazing!), finally putting my house together (the shelf is finally done), and more brynlie pushing trucks around. 

Catch Up #2

We juiced our grapes and made jelly! I was a little nervous about us actually liking it, but we do! It didn't make as much as I was hoping, but we have 9 pint size jars to eat on all year. My mom came to my house to help me get started. Things were a little tight in my kitchen! 

Brynlie's hair was VERY hard to do in August. She wouldn't sit still, and she hated me doing it. So getting 3 ponies in was a success!

We went to Columbia Park August 31st and enjoyed a HOT day. Wyatt still absolutely loves his bike and is really good on it. He loved going around the bike jumps with dad and then we did a ride on the train around the park. 

Apple picking in early Sept was a hit with wyatt! We found huge apples and like always they taste great!

Catch Up

We had a great summer! Brynlie found the tomatoes and loved eating them! Our garden did great, and I canned a new recipe of salsa. We love it! Aug 9th- Brynlie started crawling up the stairs and makes life a lot harder for mom! Wyatt got some new shades on one of our MANY trips to the dentist for mom (had tooth problems that ended in a root canal). August 19th- brynlie FINALLY learns to put food in her mouth! The kids find lots of entertainment from a box that came for daddys truck. They loved climbing in and out of the box and had so much fun together! Brynlie's new favorite thing, pulling dishes out of the dishwasher. August 24th- Fair! Wyatt rides his first fair ride and loved it! I was nervous, but he could choose one and he was so excited!
