Moving! {yes again!}

I really hope the word "moving" doesn't keep appearing in my posts for the rest of this year! We will finally be done with going back and forth between school and summer jobs, so we are hoping to be in one place for a long time (10months to 1 year ish). Will that actually happen, probably not. Here's our situation:

So we are so done with apartments! But at the same time renting a decent size, decent looking (trust me I'm really not picky, not asking for much more than no mold) is so expensive. Anywhere from $1200-$1600 a month. Hm....ya not in our budget. We want to save up some money to buy in about 1 year, and these prices wouldn't allow for much saving! So we are trying out a program that is very scary and could be very stressful, we shall see. While homes are on the market for sale, they put "caretakers" in them to keep them nice, clean, organized, furnished. To make them look homey and enticing. Since you never know when the house will sale, and you have realators stopping by with lookers, it means cheap rent. We signed a contract last week to live in a 2010built home, 1800sqft, and exactly what I want. The layout is seriously what I am so excited about! 3bedrooms, 2bath, a playroom next to the living room, kitchen, dinning area....seriously what am I doing to do with all this space?! ENJOY it while it lasts! I am so excited about it....but so nervous too. You never know when the house will sale, and when it does you have about 30-45days to move out. Ugh, another move?! We are playing with fire here, I just know it. But the price is so good, we couldn't even find an apartment for the price, $800/month. So we hope it all works out. Could be a complete disaster, could be a great way to save up money.....we shall see. We move March 16th....I was really sad about leaving La Grande, but now that I have this house to move to....march 16th can't come soon enough!

...this and that...

We haven't been up to a whole lot these days, at least nothing I have taken pictures of. We did take a trip home last weekend to check out some housing and for brock to interview. I am SO stinking proud of him...like really proud! He was the kid in high school that hated homework, slacked off, failed math, wanted to ride dirt bike or work outside ALL the time. He graduated from HS never thinking a BA was in his cards, let alone college at all. Now, lots of years later, he is graduating and has had a few different offers from really great companies. He is a young, knowledgable, sociable, fun young man that loves agriculture! He has been on with AgriNorthwest since he started school in 2007, and has planned on staying with them when he graduates. Last summer a company offered him a position, with great pay and benefits, but it wasn't what Brock wanted and thought AgriNorthwest is the way to go. Another big company contacted him and asked him to interview...although he still planned on AgriNorthwest, getting interview experience and hearing what other companies have to offer is always a good idea. He is just very happy with AgriNorthwest, the way they run their farm, treat their employees, benefits, and driving brand new john deere tractors every year seems quite fun for him too :) I am just very proud of him for being responsible and doing what is best for our family!

Looking for housing in the kennewick/pasco area hasn't been fun. PHEW, renting a decent house is expensive! We are still looking and hoping something will soon come up that is in our price range! I found out yesterday I have been wrong all along about when brock is done, a whole week earlier than I thought! Which makes a huge difference, we thought we could move april 1st (ish) but now it will be around the 21st (ish) of March! BIG changes in store for our little family in the next few months....can't say I'm not EXCITED to have a steady income :)

One thing I have really learned lately is to trust in the Lord. There have been experiences on both sides of the family lately that have really showed me to rely on Him for comfort and guidance. A good quote that has been on my mind A LOT lately is "having faith in the Lord means having faith in His timing." There are so many things I wish could just happen, like snap my fingers and it's here, but relying on the Lord and His timing, brings about patience and faith. I pray daily for all our loved ones and know all will be well in the end. One thing is for sure, you can't judge others! You seriously NEVER know what is going on with a person or know their story...I'm glad I've been through what I have recently to show me these important lessons! Love One Another!
