The Latest

So I already haven't lived up to my New Years goal (to post weekly) BUT I feel like I have been doing a lot better! Last week was kind of a slow week. We enjoyed Brock having Martin Luther King day off and we had a fun gathering with friends that night. I will post some pictures of the yummy cinnomen rolls I made. They took ALL day, but it was really fun. Brock only has a lab on tuesday and no class thursday, and gets done at 3 on Monday and Wednesdays, so we left La Grande Wed around 3 and headed to Tri-Cities for Wyatt's one year check up. He did great getting all his shots! By the time the nurse left the exam room, I had Wyatt laughing. He cried for about 2 minutes, then we started playing peek-a-boo and the tears went away.
Weight: 24lbs 63percentile
Height: 31.5in 90percentile
Wyatt is pretty tall, but pretty skinny. He is still in 18 month clothes, with some 24month tops, and is wearing size 4 or 5 shoes.

Wyatt is getting more and more character these days. We were in town almost all day thursday and friday and boy was he all over the place. He squirms around until he gets out of my arms and to the ground. I am constantly trying to get him to hold my hand and walk, but he never wants to. He just wants to take off and be on his own. He also LOVES strangers. He will go to anyone, which kind of scares me when were are in town.

Staying at Grandma and Grandpa McGary's house is so fun for Wyatt. My mom has so many toys for him to explore. The first night we were there, grandma and grandpa weren't home, and wyatt kept searching every room. Just looking all around, not really playing with anything. When they did get home, he was so excited and stayed up til 10:45...something he hasn't done in......like ever! Throughout the weekend, he wouldn't leave my mom alone. He always wanted her to hold him, and sometimes chooses her over me!He loves Grandma and Grandma's house!!!

He plays SO WELL with his toys. He mainly loves taking his trucks/cars and pushing them all over, mainly on the walls. It's so cute to watch him! The past 2-3 weeks he has really got his groove on and dances to just about any kind of beat. We pump the music and he really gets low! It's so funny! Another new thing, everything is a phone. His sippy cup, the remote, the cards, his books, a stick, pretty much anything is up to his ear at one point.

Another new thing; Wyatt gives out the loudest/saddest cry whenever brock leaves. As brock gets ready for school in the morning, Wyatt will be RIGHT on his foot as he goes around the house. He starts moaning when he sees brock get his shoes on, and it's all downhill from there. When the door shuts, he instantly looks at me and gives me the saddest frown and then cry ever. It kind of breaks my heart to see it....he LOVES his daddy!

Cute! This age is a lot of fun for me to! I can't believe how big Wyatt's feet are! That must mean he is going to be tall? Jenna is not into size 3 yet!! Of course she does have short genes in her!

Wyatt and Cash are just about the exact same size. At Cash's one year he was 24 lbs and 32 inches, wears the same size clothes, and is a size 5 shoe. Funny!
