BLESSED

            Lately I have been thinking a lot about the M.A.N.Y blessings in our life! The Lord has really shown His hand in our lives, from the day we choose to be married for time and all eternity. I know that making the decision to get married, and doing it the way the Lord has designed for His children, has been a huge part of our life thus far. About a month after we got married Brock was accepted for a scholarship from AgriNorthwest, little did I know it would bless our lives so much. Unlike many others, we haven't had to worry about financing school. Brock has done an amazing job with his schooling. It is a huge blessing to our family. He said in high school he didn't do well and he therefore hated it, but he really enjoys his classes and does exceptionally well in them. Especially now that he is doing all his agriculture classes, he really enjoys them....that right there is a huge blessing. Enjoying his schooling!
           As always, this past month things have fallen into place so perfectly. (i really don't know what we have done to be blessed with so many things working out for our family) Brock will be doing an internship this summer for Agrinorthwest in the Umatila area. He will be there every day this summer, so we wanted to be in Tri-Cities so the drive doesn't kill him. We have been looking for a while now trying to figure out where to live. Nothing seemed to be working out. I was talking to my Aunt Eileen Maxfield and told he to keep a look out for anything for us during the summer. It wasn't 2 days later she called my mom and she had found us a place. It turned out to be Tracy Gibbons' mother's house in Richland. She is going on a mission and leaves in June. We are keeping our apartment here in La Grande, because we don't want to have to search for a place this fall when we come back, so we didn't want to hall all our stuff to tri-cities for 3 1/2 months, just to pack it back up and hall it to La Grande again. Well, this place in richland is going to have everything. She is leaving it furnished, so we only have to take our own personal items!!!! This is exactly what I had been praying for. I am S.I.C.K of moving and it seems like every move I can "only take the bare essentials." It has been a little tough for me to be here in La Grande with so many things in storage back home. There isn't a week that goes by that I don't think, "oh I wish I had_________" (my stash of sunscreen was the latest one. I had couponed last year for sunscreen and have tons....in storage :( so we had to go buy some, at regular price! ugh!)
          Although I am tired of packing, choosing what is "essential", and moving it all....I can't believe it is almost over (well hopefully!). Next March Brock will be DONE! That is a scary thought, because then the real life begins, with real B.I.L.L.S. But after talking to some ladies in our ward this past week, I can't believe how blessed we are. To know that Brock can go from graduating to a job with AgriNorthwest is huge. This lady here has moved 8 times in their 12 years of marriage, owned 3 homes, and thought they were settled down about 4 different times. Her hubby has changed jobs countless times and they just can't find something that feels right for them. Some people search for a job for a while after graduating from college, (if all goes according to plan) Brock can go straight to work. He is excited about this and realizes how much a blessing it was to sign up for a scholarship back in September 2007, we never realized it would bless our lives this much!
