December Fun

My days of freedom (as free as you can be with a huge belly) were coming to an end, so we lived up every moment in December! I wanted to participate in every holiday party we could, so it would pass the time, and to really give my kids a lot of attention before the baby came. We got together just right before Thanksgiving and made pillows with my family. It was so much fun! They all turned out so cute! I cut the words, then everyone transferred them on the fabric with a sharpie marker.
We attended the CBW Christmas party (yep, we aren't in that ward but we still went!) It was a polar express theme and the kids loved it. It was the first Santa showing for them and they did pretty good. Wyatt was super excited, brynlie was a little more hesitant. But she looks up to Wyatt so much, so when she saw him excited she of course had to copy. She didn't take her eyes off him most the time though.
We did our 2nd year of the Sunnyside lighted parade. This year we found out the McGary's from town go to it every year. So we teamed up with them. Mom and dad went and we last minute tagged along. They had a table all set up with chile, chips, cookies, and hot chocolate. It was great! And cold!
Our ward does a breakfast with Santa. That was really fun too. Brynlie and I wore our matching PJs I had made (brock wasn't so willing to wear his to match Wyatt). The kids once again loved Santa. Wyatt told Santa he wanted a gun and Brynlie said candy. She always just wants candy.
After the breakfast we had the Eppich Christmas party in connell at the bowling ally. They rented it and had pizza and pop and we all brought dessert. I thought the kids would love bowling more than they did. I pretty much had a bowling ball in my tummy, so I bowled one game but was done after that.
We did our annual making goodies with my sisters, sis-in-laws, and mom. We all make a TON of one thing, then swap at my moms. Then we all make a few things together. Ends up being SO much yummy stuff to take to people. We went Christmas caroling with jason and the kids that night. We went to the kids' church teachers: Janae Riner and Rhonda Jenks for nursery and Jody Anderson and Kayla Benson for sunbeams, and grandpa mcgary for fun :)
I took a few pictures of the kids with my new camera. They looked so cute for a beautiful Christmas Sunday! Love these two so much!
We had our Lane McGary party as well. The kids acted out the Nativity, which was really special. My mom had assigned roles for the kids a few weeks in advance, so we were able to dress them up. Mom also kept her recent tradition alive of the kids sitting in a circle and passing the gifts around. They are all from mom and dad, which is always above and beyond. The kids loved it as always. Brynlie's favorite was her Find It book and Wyatts was hit ninja turtles balloon and his wolfe hat.
