Changes over a year

Brynlie sure has changed a lot in the past year. I sure have LOVED watching this little one grow!

Brynlie's 1st Bday

At One Years Old Brynlie's Highlights:
3 teeth, all on the bottom - crawls everywhere - takes 2 naps most days, but 3 naps some days - been drinking whole milk for 3 weeks - loves eating - finally found a food she didn't like, cooked zucchini - favorite toys are now wyatt's monster trucks - loves clapping hands - scared to stand alone, clings to mommas finger when standing - size 12-18 month clothes - size 3 shoe, although we have yet to find a pair of shoes to fit her - has the chunkiest little feet - had first hair cut 2 weeks ago - favorite person is momma - still gets shy when people say hi and hides in mommas shoulder - drama queen - can stop crying in an instant when she get what she want - frequently fights with wyatt over toys - wakes 1x at night around 3-4am - absolutely loves her blankie, smashes her face into it every time she sees it - knows her name for past 3 months or more - tries telling wyatt off when he won't listen - uses a binki to sleep, not much more - has climbed stairs successfully and unattended 5x - loves the dishwasher, pantry room, and front room window - keeps headbands on - doesn't like dolls yet - finally stopped pushing momma away when doing her hair - says two words "mum" "dadda" - sweet and sassy -

Wyatt update

Since I have had sharing time the month of September, I had a game we did in primary that Wyatt wanted to play at home. It was so fun! I couldn't believe how much he actually heard during primary and was telling me during our FHE. In order to move your car forward you had to draw a card, reach the quote and guess which prophet said the quote. About half way through the game Wyatt drew a card and wouldn't hand it to me. He said-

"It says you will get blessings if you listen to your mom and dad."

And then he rolled the dice and moved his spaces. Brock and I were so excited! This went on the rest of the game. The next time he said

"If you don't play in the water and go to church you are happy with the prophet."

haha. Love this little guy and SO happy to hear he's the things we're teaching him are sinking in. 

It also really made me think, am I doing all that I can right now to teach him? He is REALLY at a soaking everything in stage. 

He is actually really smart too. I have worked with him a lot. We have had preschool time about once a week (sometime twice) since he was 2years old. About 5-6 months ago he knew all his letters, and in the last 2 months we have been working on sounds of the letters and which words start with that letter. He only knows about 5-8 sounds but he knows a ton of letters and what words start with that letter. His numbers were a lot harder for him to learn. It all clicked about 3 weeks ago! YAY! (dont get me wrong, if he isn't really focusing he still mixes up things). 

We started a joy school preschool 3 weeks ago and he LOVES it. I'm sure it's more a social get to play with your friends thing, but can always tell me the letter they talked about. 

His vocabulary is very similar to ours, with a "holy junk" here and a "littler stinker numb" and "freaking crayon." He is really big into "sorry mom, I not mean to." He says that about 15x a day. Even when things are not his fault. I asked him why he didn't put his PJs away, I get "sorry mom, I not mean to." He is so stinking cute. I also hear "mom you play with me please" a lot and I love it! We play a lot, he's my bud! 

Brynlie is ONE

Oh my sweet baby girl you are ONE! I can't believe it has been a year, and yet I can't hardly remember life without you! I still remember the relief of you coming out of me normal and my first thought being "she's huge!" Little did I know just how big and chunky you would become!
You are your own little person. You have sass enough to hold your own against Wyatt, tell "mum mum mum" when you need food now!, and hit your daddy in the face for attention! Brynlie you already know what you want and don't stop til you get it (thus the 2-3 wake ups a night!)
You normally go straight down in your crib, but I held you and rocked you and shed a few tears at how you now push my hands away when I rub your arm. (Definitely not a snuggler) and I wondered how much longer I will get to dress you in girly pink, and kiss your cheeks 100x a day, or have your complete love and being your most favorite person in the world. Stay little, please! Singing you to sleep tonight took me right back to those early months of being up with you for so long, and how I was so tired, but LOVED every minute of holding you. When I found out I was pregnant with you I was extremely excited and knew I would cherish every moment with you.
You have had me wrapped around your little finger from day one, and I will forever be there to spoil you rotten. I love you so much brynlie, you have brought this momma so much joy. I am so blessed to raise you. Forever and ever, my baby you'll be.

Eppich Family Reunion

I was able to go up to the cabin tues-friday this year with my mom. It was a really different reunion this year because dad was put in as bishop that sunday. So we all were there to support him and then some people headed up there right after. It was actually really fun. I was so nervous going with a crawling baby and a toddler without brock, but it was great! The weather was HOTT! like 95ish all week. We ate great food, played games, swam, swam and swam. The kids were exhausted by the end of the day, so bedtime was easy. Aunt Kathi and Ryan Carlson were brave enough to take moms boat and 12kids out fishing one night. They caught a pretty big one with a little princess pole. Both kids loved playing in the water! Brynlie only tried to eat the sand twice, and wyatt played all day in the shallow part, where he could touch. Every time I am up there, I just LOVE priest lake!!!

I love you!

Last night I tucked Wyatt in bed and we said our normal I love yous. I went to bed and like 2-3mins later I hear being yelled from his room "mom I love you, I love you lots lots lots." Melted my heart and made my crazy busy day so worth while. Love him!!!

Job Change

Well the new job has begun so I guess it's safe for me to document it all.

A few months ago a good friend of ours called brock and told him he was being promoted and was looking for someone to take his job. Brock has worked with him through AgriNorthwest a lot and has seen what his job entitles. It has always looked like an appealing job to Brock, so he said he was willing to hear more about it. Through a process of about a month, and 3 fabulous dinner dates with lots of questions from brock and I, and from them (they had 3 others they were looking at) he was offered a position at Double L (they build potato/farming equipment). There were so many things that were pulling us towards this job and we were so excited when we felt peace about it. Brock is just perfect for this position and I am excited to (hopefully) be able to see him more. I am good friends with the wife of the person that hired him and she told me the flexibility is amazing with this job. I am excited about that! 

One requirement was a nicer truck (he is representing the company so the old red wasn't going to make the cut). He searched everywhere and is loving what he found. He traveled to boise ID to get the truck. Then a week later hauled this tractor down to Burley, ID to do some training and get all the paperwork finalized.  (he officially started this job July 25th)

I am so proud of Brock. He has worked so hard and truly deserves this. I am excited for him and what he can do with the new company. He has been with them over a week now and just keeps saying he has a lot to learn, but I know he will do great. He keeps amazing me every day with what he accomplishes and his many talents. I am lucky to be married to such a good provider. 

We love him!

 Wyatt loved daddy's red truck (red is his favorite color right now). So he was pretty sad to see it go. Then once we got the new one, he says he loves it more. I can't imagine why. haha.
