Here is a little update on Brock. Over the past year he has really got into restoring old trucks. We found one down here in La Grande that he really wanted. So we got it and he halled it back home. It needed a ton of work (obviously!), but just this past January he found another old truck that was in better condition. So.....we got that one too! Boys and their (expensive) hobbies! BUT, it is fun seeing him get excited and constantly talk about what needs to be done next. He is always pinching pennies trying to find a way to make improvements on his truck. The one pictured is the one he decided to restore. I thought his love for motorcycles was crazy, but wow, this hardly touches that. He is learning a lot on the internet and is excited to put some work into during his Spring Break.
While in La Grande Brock has quiet a bit of spare time. We have been looking for a job for months now, and as you can tell he isn't too bumbed he hasn't found one. Our friend Andy Shinsel is a pilot and took brock flying one day. This was about 2 weeks ago. Brock very much enjoyed it! They were gone about 1 1/2 hrs; they flew to Wallowa Lake. On their way back I went outside to see them, and of course Andy starts doing some sharp turns and scary drops! Looked really fun though!
