Catch Up {part 2}

 Early November. Cousins come to play. 

 For FHE when brock was gone, Wyatt and I made Tom the Thankful Turkey. Wyatt loved it.

 December 5th. Wearing 3/6month Pjs and they are already tight. 

Brynlie goes back and forth on liking her baths. She went about 3 weeks during December where she would just scream. I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. She grew out of it or something, she loves her baths now. 

Halloween

We had a great Halloween! Wyatt had to be Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. He came up with this punching thing (pictures below), I guess maybe Buzz does that in the movie, but he's only seen the movie like 2x. So I'm not sure why he loves it so much. Aunt Steph and Uncle Jasen got all the kids halloween PJs. They loved it. We went out to the CB ward trunk or treat. Wyatt was able to go with paisley. Then we went to McGary's and back to Gibbons. 

Halloween is also my birthday...ya I'm petitioning to have it switched. The whole day is focused on the kids and trick or treating now that I'm a mom. But oh well, I love it still.

Catch Up

(these are from October 19th 2012)

 I got called into the Primary Presidency 3 weeks before I had Brynlie. Luckily, they didn't make me do the primary program (normally would be my job). I felt bad the rest of the group had to do it all, so I offered to do the treat for after the program. Brynlie was still very new, so taking on this big project was exhausting! But we did it! We did 15 batches of kettle korn popcorn. (the little helping hands resulted in 1/2 cup spilled sugar. oh the joys!)

 LUCKILY, this little one slept through the whole thing. I remember I was amazed because she hardly slept. I think the noise helped her stay asleep. She loved noise and movement. 

Christmas Begins

 Holy Cow! Are these kids not CUTE?! I just loved having a girl during Christmas time. Boys are great and handsome, BUT there are so many amazingly cute Christmas dresses. 

Randoms

 Top: Wyatt LOVES to help me set up for primary. One time Brock was helping me too and all the sudden this little one was standing there saying a prayer. So cute! Hope he does this good when he's older and there's a room full of kids.

Below: So brock got back from IL, we had thanksgiving, then the next monday - thursday he was in Nebraska for work conference. Long month? YEP! 

 below: This is the "cycles bike" wyatt wanted Santa to bring him. I am so glad we went and had him try it out, because we were shocked when it was too small. He was SCREAMING forever when we finally pulled him away from these bikes. 

Brock's Latest

 Brynlie was about 3 weeks old, I was still sleep deprived, yet hunting/camping still goes on. Nothing can come between a man and his hunting trip. (or brock's case the last 2 years a camping trip during hunting season) Top picture: sure looks like rough camping doesn't it?! 

 Brock in IL checking out the farms. He was gone a full week, longest week ever! This was the week before Thanksgiving, so Brynlie was still very young and not sleeping much. Glad he enjoyed himself though :)

 Carthage Jail. He said this place was amazing, the Spirit was so strong. 

 When I went to Nauvoo the temple wasn't up. I love this picture he took with his phone! 

 I can't even imagine what these people went through. I just got done reading The Work and the Glory books, and it's amazing to me how much faith they had. To have my husband be gone so much, and then lose so many babies....Emma truly was an amazing woman!

Thanksgiving

I am so behind on posts! Thanksgiving this year was great, as always! We went to Gibbons around 10:30am and hung out the whole day. It was such great food! Since I had a baby, I was assigned easy stuff for all the holiday meals...it was nice! :) Wyatt absolutely loves going to Mimi's and Papa's house. Him and Paisley are SUCH good friends. The look on their faces when they see each other is so fun. They both run up to each other so excitedly, like they're going to hug, then they both just stand there and talk. haha. So cute.
We went to McGary's house around 7pm and just hung out for a couple hours. This was the first year I didn't tag along and do the Black Friday sales. I wasn't really in need of anything, so instead of going and buying stuff we didn't need, I stayed home and slept soundly:)
We are so thankful for so many blessings. I love thanksgiving time and the way the world turns to giving thanks...I pray I can keep that thanksgiving spirit alive all year. I truly have been blessed way beyond what I deserve. Look at these 2 adorable kids, my biggest blessings!
