So we have an update on Brock's foot. He went over to Harberview in Seattle and saw an amazing doctor. The doctor told us that he will have to have 3 surgeries total. He went over to seattle on Wednesday and Thursday morning at 6:00 he had his first surgery. His foot had shrunk about 1 in. so they needed to go in and put some rods in to stretch it out. So currently he has some rods in his foot stretching it apart. The doctor told us this would be a very painful surgery....and it was. Brock did really good the first night after surgery, but the second night he came home and that wasn't as great. They released him at 9:00 pm from the hospital on Friday. He is doing really good...for the most part. There are times where he is in a lot of pain. He is just getting tired of laying around and not being able to move and do things on his own. I feel so bad for him. He is being a trooper though, and we are looking forward to the next step towards getting this thing done with! We are thankful for all the prayers, we know they are helping.

Brock's Accident

Ok, so I know that there are a lot of you that are wanting to know exactly what happened....so here's the story....the true one. Brock was riding on Saturday and went off a jump with too much power. His bike sort of started to do a back flip in the air, so he decided to bail off. He pushed his bike forward and hit the ground super hard on his feet. He went to Kania clinic where they told him he would need to have surgery done. We waited until Monday to get into a sergion that then told us we would be needing to go to Seattle because it was in really bad shape(to put it in good terms). He went on Tuesday morning to get a CT done. We decided that we needed a second opinion, so we saw a doctor in WallaWalla that was very helpful. He explained everything to us. Brock's right foot is broken in many places. He has pieces of bone all over. He explained it was going to have to be a very in depth and difficult surgery that he wouldn't be able to do. He also referred us to a dr in Seattle. Brock and his parents headed up there today, wednesday, to have a consult and see what needs to be done and when it needs to be done. So i am (patiently) awaiting the news. Brock and I are currently in school, which makes this very hard for both of us. If you could please keep him in your prayers we would appreciate it. We know that this is a growing experience for the both of us and realize we are blessed that it isn't any worse than it is.

For some reason i couldn't figure out what was going on with our blog. Somehow all our contacts got deleted and things got messed up. I figured it out now so there will be a bunch of new pictures coming out. This past month Brock and I have had so much fun together. Things have been really awesome. We passed up a trip to Hawaii with my family that made me pretty sad. But with us just getting married we decided we prob. should off til we have more money. Even though we really wanted to go. Christmas is coming too fast! I can't believe how fast it has come. I started decorating the house with Christmas stuff a little early this year, like before Thanksgiving...haha. I didn't have anything for thanksgiving, so i decided to put up Christmas. Brock and i have been done with schooling at CBC since Dec. 6th so we have had a nice break. I am still working at Mid Columbia Eye Care and brock is on the farm. He did very well in his classes and ended up getting a 4.0 GPA...only a little bit better than i did ;) We start back up Jan. 2nd, which doesn't sound too fun. Well we wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope we can all remember the true meaning and realize how much our Savior has done for us. I know brock and I feel extremely blessed!!!
