Thanksgiving

I am so behind on posts! Thanksgiving this year was great, as always! We went to Gibbons around 10:30am and hung out the whole day. It was such great food! Since I had a baby, I was assigned easy stuff for all the holiday meals...it was nice! :) Wyatt absolutely loves going to Mimi's and Papa's house. Him and Paisley are SUCH good friends. The look on their faces when they see each other is so fun. They both run up to each other so excitedly, like they're going to hug, then they both just stand there and talk. haha. So cute.
We went to McGary's house around 7pm and just hung out for a couple hours. This was the first year I didn't tag along and do the Black Friday sales. I wasn't really in need of anything, so instead of going and buying stuff we didn't need, I stayed home and slept soundly:)
We are so thankful for so many blessings. I love thanksgiving time and the way the world turns to giving thanks...I pray I can keep that thanksgiving spirit alive all year. I truly have been blessed way beyond what I deserve. Look at these 2 adorable kids, my biggest blessings!

Worries of a 2yr old

Wyatt wanted to say the prayer this morning- he always does a very high pitched voice and really quiet. So cute, I just love it!

"father, bless a daddy be safe. bless a b-ie (brynlie), thank you the food, bless different popcorn when we watch movie Thomas. Bless a frosty not melt. Amen"

Oh the worries of a 2year old. We made "frosty" the snowman yesterday and he has now fallen over because he is melting. Last night we watched Thomas the train movie and ate the popcorn that Santa brought Wyatt. He calls it different popcorn because it has 3 different flavors in the tin. He LOVES the carmel one the best.

Precious Moments

I was sewing at the kitchen table and we had the baby monitor on. Brynlie was asleep in her bassinet upstairs and Wyatt was playing trucks in the living room. Brynlie started crying and Wyatt instantly ran upstairs saying "I comin B-ie." Once he got up there it was so cute to hear him on the monitor. "It's ok B-ie. I here. It's ok. You happy B-ie? Mommy B-ie crying. It's ok, mommy comin, mommy comin. You want pinkie. Here you go." Just so cute listening to his little voice trying to comfort his sister!

Then we were changing her diaper and he said "I tell you somethin mom." So he leaned over and whispered in my ear "I green bike Christmas." I said "yep you have to be good or Santa won't bring one. What does Brynlie want?" Normally he says everyone wants a green bike, but he said "B-ie want little toys." So cute.

Last monday for FHE we did a lesson about Christ's birth with the felt pictures I borrowed from my mom. He loved it! Then we went to John Farrell's house to help him move his food storage. He had an adult bike hanging on the wall in the garage and Wyatt said "Mommy, that Jesus' Christmas bike." lol. I guess even Christ wants a bike for Christmas. :)

Brynlie 10 weeks

We had Brynlie's 2 month appointment yesterday and the obvious was confirmed. She is a big girl :) She weighs 13lbs 12oz (86%) and was 24 1/4inches (96%). Dr checked her head muscles and was surprised, he said her head is the strength of a 4month old. Her 3month clothes are very snug and we are in mostly 3-6month clothes. We are in love her every day!

Melt My Heart

When I was putting Wyatt down for a nap today we were reading Thomas the Train. One page had a bunch of cars hooked onto Thomas and Wyatt said "mommy count it." So I counted them...."6 cars Wyatt." I then turned the page and he said "good counting mommy. yep, 6 cars." I looked at him and said "thanks Wyatt." "Welcome mommy, welcome." I wish I could record little moments like this because it's the tone of voice and the "matter of factly" voice he has when he says it.

He is surprising me every day with things he is saying.

This morning Wyatt walked over to Brynlie in her swing and said "mommy b-ie is awake." I said "yep Brynlie's awake." "B-ie is happy too."

He is starting to add words like "too" and "is" and "in" to make full sentences. Makes me so happy:)

YAY!

Just a little document and a proud moment...at my 6 week check up I had lost 29lbs!! Woot Woot! I know it's the last 10lbs that are the hardest, so we'll tackle that soon. I only have 8lbs more to go to pre pregnancy weight, and I'm positive ALL those pounds are in my butt and thighs :(  I was SO excited at 7weeks I was able to put on my favorite pair of normal jeans! (just couldn't button them, lol) Slowly starting to get back to working out...not fun but SO determined to not have a ghetto forever! :)

Blessing Day

Here are just a couple pictures of Brynlie's blessing day on November 4th. I WILL get more up when my mom emails me the rest. 

Brynlie was blessed in the same dress I was. (she is a little chunker, we couldn't button the back!) It was a wonderful day. We are so blessed to have one of our Heavenly Father's children in our home. We love her to pieces. I seriously hold her and stare at her all the time, she is the little girl I wanted. She looks at me all the time, and it just melts my heart when she smiles at me. We love you Brynlie Ann!
