BIG NEWS!!!!

We have some really big news....NO we're not pregnant...we're going to be moving. It isn't for a long time (january 2010) but I'm really excited. There has been a lot going on with us lately and I haven't posted for a long time...so here's what's new:
La Grand Oregon is where we will be moving to, I know, totally random. I never ever thought I would live in La Grand, but we found out about 1 month ago Brock's Agriculture degree (crop science/soils) isn't offered at WSU TC like we thought it would going to be. So his counselor found him the degree in La Grand at EOU and that's where we're going. It really didn't help me out, actually it REALLY messed things up for me, schooling wise. I was all set up to go to WSU TC in the teaching program. I had applied and was set up to start in august. Trying to get into the teaching program at EOU was crazy, I needed another whole year before I could get into the teaching program. We quickly decided that wasn't going to work. I feel like I've been in school forever, and want to finish ASAP! So I've thrown around a lot of different things, and I think we figured out that I will finish my BA through WSU online. Seems like the only thing going for me right now. I am stoked about the move though. I am really liking the fact that it's a ways from home, so we can have our space and stuff, yet it's still close enough that we can visit. I'm really excited to meet new people, experience the college life outside of CBC, enjoy new environments...it will be great. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE IT HERE, I have always said I didn't want to be stuck in the basin area the rest of my life and I felt like that was happening. It will be good for us to be away for a while and grow stronger.
I've heard there isn't a lot to do in La Grand, so that's kind of a bummer. When we found out WSU didn't have brock's program, we were really hoping we would be going back to BYU-Idaho. My best friend, Karie and John, are down there and I would have LOVED to go back there for 2 years...but I know this is the path the Lord wants us to take.

2009 Thus Far

HAHAHAHAHA! So we celebrated Vday on Friday night and when we were getting ready he came out of the shower like this. I know, a little too much skin for some of you...but I couldn't resist. He's so HOTT! And look how cute his chest looks! ohhhhhhh. thanks hun! I love you!

Brock made and sold 4 of the kitchen things that he made me for Christmas. He's pretty much amazing at everything he does. LOVE IT!

There were SO MANY dishes while we were painting, I just kept pushing them off til we were all done with the kitchen. haha, I hate that feeling of CLUTER everywhere!

Here are a few before pictures. I just hope we made it look better! I like it a ton better...we'll have to see how long it holds up!

I liked this (below) pic because it reminded me of a gingerbread house! Oh, I painted all the cracked because of that stupid paneling stuff! Omg, it wasn't fun.

Below- Yes, we had wallpaper before the paint. It was really coming off everywhere, definetely time for a change!

Brock made me this little add on of the cupboard thing. He's seriously SO talented. I love this little bakers rake my mom got me for Christmas! It's fun to decorate!

I'm slow I know

So I hardly ever get on here because we don't have internet at our house. So I'm really sorry I don't put up pictures very often. Brock has been really busy lately with his MAD SKILLS with wood. He has some major talent and I'm loving it. We also painted the kitchen in our little trailor so I'll have pictures sometime soon...but it's mid-terms this week, so who knows when they'll get up:)

Disappointment

Many of you know that Brock had his accident ONE YEAR ago. It's really so crazy how fast it has gone by. We were scheduled to go back to Seattle yesterday and see Dr. B and talk about what needs to happen in the future for his foot. We were really excited becasue we were hoping for good news and to find out just will come about in the future(whether some metal needs to come out or not). We decided to cut the trip down a little on Wed. (since we drive to Seattle and back in the same day) so we drove out to Chad and Jande's in Royal City tues. night. Thanks so much Jande for putting up with us for so long!! We woke up the next morning to the pass being closed! OMG! Just what we need huh? It didn't sound like it was going to open, and we were missing classes so we decided to head back to Tri-Cities to hit our last class. I called Harborview before we left Jande's and they said the next appt would be in MARCH!!! We were like we can't wait that long. We don't know how much longer Brock's insurance will last. So we decided to wait a while longer in Royal. Finally at 11:00 it was still closed and so we went home...missing a full day of school. They are going to try to get him earlier than March, but they still haven't let us know when. Looking at the new this morning I'm glad were didn't go over...looks like tons of flooding going on over there. The Lord really watches out for us...even when we want a different outcome!

I'm so Lucky!

First off, sorry about the color on the last post. I don't know how to go back and edit previous posts, so everything is weirdish in the previous post.

So for Christmas this year Brock spoiled me! I wanted a bicycle so badly, to work out during the summer. They are pretty expensive and a little over out budget so he did EXACTLY what i would have done and found one on craigs list! I'm so proud of him. To make it better, he painted it pink for me!!! haha. I love it! I haven't rode it yet to make sure it works, but he said it does. (I forgot my camara Christmas morning so i don't have any pictures of it, sorry) He always built me a thing to go behind the toilet. I swear, he is such a handy man! I love it! It's my favorite. He actually has really good taste too. He told me he did it all by himself...which is amazing!

These pictures aren't in the right order. I dont blog very much and i can never remember which way i'm supposed to add them. Oh well. So after we put the toilet thingy in there we decided to paint. I dont have a final picture...but it looks SO much better!

Party Time from Dec. 1st-Jan. 3rd

WE HAVE REALLY ENJOYED THE HOLIDAYS, BUT HOLY COW DOSE ANYONE ELSE FEEL LIKE IT'S BEEN A CONSTANT PARTY? WHICH IS FUN, BUT EXHAUSTING AT THE SAME TIME! FROM BROCK'S FAMILY, MY FAMILY, MY HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS, HIS HIGH SCHOOL FRIENDS, HIS SINGLE GUY FRIENDS, AND OUR MARRIED COUPLE FRIENDS.....WE HAVE REALLY LEARNED WHAT IT'S LIKE TO LITERALLY PARTY EVERY NIGHT FOR ABOUT 2 WEEKS! WE WENT SLEDDING ON ANDERSON'S HILL. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!

WE GOT SO MUCH FOR CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR. WE ARE SO BLESSED, IT'S AMAZING!

WE THOUGHT THE SNOW WOULD NEVER GO AWAY. IT FINALLY DID FOR ABOUT 4 DAYS, AND NOW IT'S BACK AGAIN! I KIND OF LIKE IT THOUGH, DOESN'T HURT ME...AS LONG AS EVERYONE DRIVES SAFE!

I ALWAYS LOVE DECORATING FOR CHRISTMAS. OUR LITTLE HOUSE IS HOLDING UP AND I'M STARTING TO GET USED TO IT....BUT I'M STILL NOT USED TO HOW COLD IT IS!!! I SWEAR THERE ARE DAYS IT FEELS LIKE WE MIGHT AS WELL BE OUTSIDE!

Brock's got Skill!!

So here is what Brock has been up to! Isn't it BEAUTIFUL?! My mom and him have been talking for a while now about how she wanted him to build her something (last year for christmas he build me a hutch!). She picked out a book case she wanted and he went to work. He cleaned up an old shop on the Gibbons' farm and we added some very expensive tools to make it his work place. It really has worked out great!

So it was originally made for the hallway at my mom's house...but it was too much for the hallway. After lots of talk and trying to decide what my mom wanted to do, it got moved.

We moved it to the formal sitting room, where the piano used to be. It looks great! It looks even better in real life! Good job hun!
