Brock has been loving his new job. He was offered an Ag Tech position for AgriNorthwest (near Umatila). He has worked for them for the past 3 summers as an intern and enjoyed it. But now he really loves it. He is still under a manager (kevin merrill), but he has a lot of responsibility and is BUSY all day long. Every time I call we can only talk for about 1-2mins before he says, "OK, I got to go." He goes to work 4:45-5:00am and comes home 6:30-7pm Monday-Friday. He has to occasionally watch water on the weekends, but so far he has only worked 1 saturday. The things he does and the pictures he takes make the job look fun! He is a farmer at heart and he LOVES the organization of this company (not to mention the brand new toys, I mean tools, they get to use).
Our little family of four loves: riding dirt bikes, shooting guns, wrestling with daddy, playing "cycles xbox" going to the farm and being with family. We are so blessed to be sealed in the temple and have our family together forever. We consist of Brock (28) Emily (25) Wyatt (3) Brynlie (born sept 2012)

it's a girl?!
This past week has NOT gone anything like it was scheduled to. It was a stay at home, sew, grocery shop, CLEAN, and do laundry week, but didn't work like that. Monday was a beautifully hot day so we played outside and went for a walk with the neighbors. I think I over did it because I started spotting. Nothing big or super scary, just got me a little nervous and sent me to the couch during Wyatt's nap. Tuesday I woke up and totally kinked (sp!) my neck super funny and couldn't move it AT ALL without tons of pain. I have never had that happen where it doesn't go away, it was horrible. Wednesday, melanie cain worked on my neck and it helped a ton, but still painful! By Wednesday night I realized I wasn't feeling my active baby moving a lot, still not super worried but just thinking bout it. Thursday morning, more bleeding. So yes, I worried about it. I am a girl, and a pregnant momma, I worry. No matter how much Brock says don't stress or think about it, how can I not? Anyway, few more details I will spare you all of, I ended up in the dr's office at 1:00pm for an ultrasound. Baby's heartbeat has never sounded so heavenly! :) We found the source of the blood and it isn't a big scare, so all is well....and while they were in there they took a peek at the gender. The whole time watching the ultrasound the baby looked just like Wyatt, the forehead, and the nose. The huge, feet and hands. Just looked so much like Y. She put some gender pictures and a letter in a sealed envelope (i didn't trust myself not to open it, so i told her lock it up tight!). At 6:30pm when Brock got home from work we opened it as a family. Wyatt was actually very interested, saying brother and trying to say sister. We looked at the pictures first and brock pointed out boy parts, YAY, it's a boy....well the next picture showed a different angle and was labeled GIRL. haha. It's so hard to understand these pictures, we weren't looking anywhere close to the right thing. I was SHOCKED! And then I got pretty sad, I wanted a little boy for Wyatt so badly. I could see him and a little brother just making all sorts of messes, and trucks, and dirt, and having a brotherhood together. BUT, I am super excited. Oh how nervous brock is for our bank account, and he has every right to be! haha. Girl stuff is SO MUCH cuter than boy stuff. We are trying to add to our savings and buy a house the end of this year. Um.....there is cheap girl stuff, right?!

Recent Activities
I have been so bad about taking my camera places. But now that Brock's work has provided him a phone with internet, we use it a lot. Here are some of the pictures from his phone of our past month.
This
Easter egg hunt at Gibbons. Paisley and Wyatt are the only kids, so it was a very slow moving egg hunt:)
Wyatt's new way of smiling (above). He just squints his eyes these days.
Daddy finally has his bike back (we've left it at families houses while in school). Wyatt begs every day to go sit on it.
What?! It was sunny outside?!?! My poor child. We went to my mom's 2 weekends ago and he was outside from like 10-3 and got so burnt. It wasn't that hot out, but he got so burnt on his face. That night we put tons of after sun lotion on, but the next morning he woke up with a blister/bubble on his face! I felt so bad!
The same day we went to my moms house and Wyatt got burnt. We were home that evening outside washing cars and bikes when a lama came walking down the street. haha. Not what you usually see in the city. Some people from our ward were out walking them. Wyatt didn't like it, wouldn't touch it.....but really I can't blame him. I wouldn't touch it either :)
(above) this is our child eating all by himself and mad at us for doing so. He refuses to feed himself these last few weeks. We battle him even sitting in a chair, so I normally shove as many bites in as I can before he off. This time, daddy said no more. He didn't eat his lunch, then I made his favorite meal (breakfast) and then we made him eat it. He picks up the fork and hands it to us, wanting us to do it. Good thing brock was doing this because I would have given in, wyatt was so hungry and crying like we wouldn't give him food. So he didn't eat with us, but 1 hour later we put him in his chair and left him along....and he did it! He knows how, just refuses to.
This is the story of my life this past week. Wyatt normally carries around these 2 motorcycles and 1 tractor. He has to sleep with them, and obviously he doesn't go anywhere without them. Brock was at the hockey games with a friend, so I went to bed after putting Wyatt down. His new thing is to come and sleep right by the door. 1 hr after going to bed, brock came home and found him at his door like this. So funny. He HAS to have these motorcycles!

Copy-Cat
Yesterday at the grocery store Wyatt refused to stay in the shopping cart. He now knows how to wiggle himself out of the straps, so it's a lost cause. I just grab what we absolutely need and get out. Yesterday I buckled him in and literally the first thing I did was get produce and he says "momma, all done, ALL DONE" and was climbing out. There is no way to fight him to keep him in, snacks, trucks, motorcycles...he was all done. So he got to walk beside me, which I was actually very surprised, he only ran off once. He did like knocking over the items on the shelf, but quickly learned that WAS NOT ok. I opened the door at the freezer section and told him to grab a bag of peas and carrots. He got the right bag and instantly put it to his forehead and started walking off. I started laughing knowing exactly what he was doing. He does this around the house. He will grab it off the counter and put it to his head and walk around....this is what I've been doing the last 3 months multiple times a week when I am throwing up. It just cracks me up how much he has been watching. Love this little man so much! (even all his never ending energy!)
PS. I am throw up free for 1 week and 2 days now! YAY!

Bitter Sweet Goodbye
On Sunday March 25th we said goodbye to our dear sweet Grandpa Gibbons. We were in the country for Nathan Eppich's homecoming and decided to stop by Grandpa's house. About 5mins before we got there Daren called and said the situation wasn't good. We were shocked. Knew he wasn't doing well, but he hasn't been for about 3 months now. We walked in and I was shocked at the difference in our sweet Grandpa. Luckily, he wasn't holding on that day and within 3hours left us to be reunited with many loved ones in heaven. I can't imagine how great the reunion with him and Necia was. They were married 45 (ish) years before she passed of cancer in 1990. For many years now, his body has been a hold back for him. In his mind he was still ready to jump on the swather and get things done, but many times his body proved he wasn't able to. Two summers ago, courtney, derek, brock and I were swimming and grandpa and melba all the sudden come out with their suits on. It was great! But Grandpa thought he was young again and headed off by himself to the deep end. He instantly sunk and realized his muscles were gone. It was really sad to watch. For all these reasons, it was such a sweet moment to say goodbye to this great man. I remember when we brought Wyatt down to see him for the first time, his eyes got big and you could see the pride in them. He told us Wyatt is the first (and only still) great-grandchild to carry on the Gibbons name. The joy in his eyes was unforgettable. He was a great woodworker, which shows where brock got his love of that from. As we buried him in Kennewick, at the same place Grandma Eppich is buried, I sat by Grandma's grave for a while. It's so hard to keep their memory alive. I feel like Grandma was just here, yet I can hardly picture her face, remember her smell, or feel the tickle on my cheek from her fingers. But I realized it isn't the exact memories that make these people great, it's who they were and how they lived their lives that inspires me to be better. To push harder, to be kind, loving, generous and obedient like they were. Most of all, I am grateful for the enhanced testimony of Eternal Families during these emotional goodbyes. But as we sang at his funeral, Families Can be Together Forever!
I can't get this picture to rotate! such a great picture though.
The Brothers
All the girls
Melba was "there" at moments. She has her moments when we think she realizes what was going on, but most of the time she just looked sad/confused. While all the grandkids sang Families Can be Together Forever at the funeral services, she started crying really hard in the middle, that did it for all us girls singing. That was hard to see!
Uncle Ray!! We love him. Grandpa's brother from cashe valley. In same ward as tony bodily, brock's mission buddy.
The whole family
A new start
These pictures are really blurry, and it doesn't show the greatness of the house we are currently in. I will take some more soon and post. I am keeping it super plain for when people come look, I don't want my personal things sitting around while strangers walk around. Creepy! Also, I take down any cute decorations when I know someone is coming and shove them in a closet. I don't want the house to appear welcoming or cute, lol bad I know. But we don't want it to sale!
I got a toy organizer for free from a girl in basin city (thanks so much!), so the playroom looks different now. But oh how I love a room for all the toys. It is a big room too, plenty of space for kids to play in!
My new couches! They are dark brown, not black like they look in this picture. Couches totally change the look of a room, if our old furniture was in here...phew, just gald it's not!
I catch wyatt all the time either sitting on his cars couch or laying like this on the floor looking at books. I love those moments when he is playing by himself, it's so cute. Oh, but they don't last long. Nope, this child BEGS to go outside or watch cars ALL day long.
Utah trip pictures
I can't remember how much I already wrote about the Utah trip. But the above picture is the whole reason we went down there. Mom, Jilayne and I left thursday and came home sunday. Quick trip, but without kids it wasn't too bad. Sarah tried on about 30-40dresses. I instantly fell in love with the dress she ended up choosing, but I had to keep my mouth shut as she made her final decisions. She will be a GOREGOUS bride!
TUCANOS! (spelling?!) This place is amazing! I am not a huge meat eater, but we tried it out 3yrs ago when Brock and I went to UT and loved it. The buffet is great and the endless meat tastes so good! I was SO nervous about going and even said drop me off, I'm not worth the cost. Because I can't/couldn't eat that much w/o getting sick. But amazingly my stomach cooperated and I ate a ton and didn't throw up or get sick (I wasn't so lucky the night before when we went to a pizza buffet, THAT wasn't a good situation :( )
We were on a very tight schedule doing ALL things wedding! We had to try and get bridesmaids dresses, kids clothes, colors and flowers figured out, engagement pics outfits and boy was it stressful. So much shopping for nothing I wanted really wore me out. lol. Jilayne and I did manage to have fun along the way.
Jilayne wanted to get implants while in UT and said she was going this big...luckily I talked her outta it;) hahahahah. totally kidding.
